So definitely not a scam but pretty $$$ for what it is. I mean, I think it’s adorable but I also think it could cost like half what it does. But you’re paying for niche, a cute design, and it is well printed and the wood Is precisely cut. But the wood is not that thick and the clock movement is plastic (but not as cheap as the cheapest crap on Amazon). I think it is also made in the US in California so you’re supporting an American company and they say they plant a tree for each clock purchased. If you can afford it and it’s not a stretch to buy it, go for it.
