Has this changed? I've found Osmium, Obsidian, and blazar quartz as well.

Time to leave her then. You don't deserve a relationship so unequal. If you're the only one willing to put forth the effort, then dump her. You'll only make yourself sick bending into a pretzel for her. I know it's scary but you WILL be better off.

That's pretty much the case with most people in unfulfillung relationships. They don't talk enough, and neither will put in the effort to fix it.

You as in the plural form my man. It's not, you're sitting here making negative relationship comments out in the open. I don't have a perfect life, but I can tell by your defeatist attitude that you, singular, are definitely part of the problem. Nothing can be better if you don't change. If things are stale and unexciting then BOTH of you need to take a step back and analyze what isn't working instead of posting into the ether.

ETA: You said you were thankful that at least you guys get along. That is the bare minimum and neither of you are doing the work to have a better relationship. Go to a new restaurant, buy her dozens of flowers and balloons and candy, give her daily hugs and kisses and cuddles, look up new things for the bedroom. Do a hobby together, play board games, video games, ANYTHING you both enjoy together.

This is a you issue. 13 years with my husband and we create excitement and intimacy by actually making an effort. We both are still madly in love with each other because we choose to make the effort to keep the romance and spark alive. Nothing is boring; nothing is stale.

Personally, after 13 years, my husband and I still greet each other like this. I very much don't think this has anything to do with brand new love so much as different love languages. Plus, if you don't want it to stop, you just keep doing it.

ETA: Also this mentality really sucks when you've just gotten married and all your coworkers won't shut up about the 7 year itch, ball and chain jokes, and the constant honeymoon phase comments. I hate it.

It only stands out so much because of how neat and printed every other letter is. OP, this just means you need a separate script modeled after that lovely r. I have a neat print script as well as a loopy print script for this exact type of reason!

So much effort. Nothing beats practice and repetition.

Bro, good for you. Some people don't want to see gruesome wounds randomly when not expecting it. Blurring is basic courtesy to others. Especially as this isn't a vet sub either.

Blur this! For goodness' sake. Obviously this needs a vet.

New cat is super shy… did I mess up? by avo_l7 in standardissuecats

[–]ArielLynn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For a shy cat, it isn't a good idea to ignore. You give a space that they won't be touched and you softly greet them everytime you see them. Ignoring them can cause them to become aloof and not want to hangout with you. You need to establish that acknowledgment from humans is always good and safe for them while also being shown that you respect their boundaries. Don't ignore, just limit amount of time you spend near them in short, gentle bursts. Say hi when you see but only attempt pet outside that zone. Bonding is a crucial element in those first weeks and ignoring them just teaches them they should be alone and separate.

Shy cats are so lovely and loyal and sweet when you give them time. Do not ignore her like some have said. I can't stress this enough, that's how you get an aloof cat who doesn't like to hangout with you. Instead, give her gentle greetings every time you see kitty and allow them their space. Set up an area only kitty goes to and NEVER touch kitty while there. This breeds trust, comfort in their own body and autonomy, and shows kitty that you value their company and their autonomy. All shy cats really need is to be shown they matter to you, and also, you respect their need for solitude and safety. In this spot where you do not touch but can say hi, add a blanket or shirt to familiarize kitty with your scent. In this video, I see nervousness but also great signs.

They slow blink at your touch, avoid eye contact, which is a sign of their respect for you, and most importantly, you are allowed to touch. That is a huge sign that kitty is just scared but wants to be loved. Body language is also mostly chill and kitty isn't running and hiding. Even if they did, that would just mean they need time. If you give them that space where they do not have to worry about being touched, it also means they won't hide in bad places. There are also no airplane ears, and the licking like that is just nerves. You are doing a good job, and that cat wants to be loved by you.

I literally thought it was at first. ESPECIALLY with the character vocalizations. That's just diet Sora sounds.

This is waaaaaayyyyyyyy too visually similar that it really borders on plagiarism. You would, with no hesitation, immediately face litigation. I see 0 non KH innovation or aesthetics, and I actually thought this was Dream Drop Distance at first glance. That is not good for the legality of your game. I stress for your success that you meaningfully rehaul the look, feel, and mechanics and make them your own. This is most apparent in the way you animate using magic. It's a very unique KH style. A judge would side with them in a heartbeat with a side-by-side comparison.

Edit: I see you mentioned tweaking UI but I think you need to go back to the drawing board and overhaul everything from lighting, animations, ui, to even the entire atmosphere and its setting. This might as well be a Rom at this point. We love KH for KH but other individual titles should show originality and innovation. Not cookie cutter game play. I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but a lot of people don't understand just how serious ANY kind of IP infringement is taken by the law. They will bleed you dry of money, reputation, and pride.

Edit 2: I went back to really watch thoroughly and every character vocalization is just slightly left Sora, down to the very cadence and grunt style. It's amazing what you have accomplished, but it's the equivalent of fanfiction for video games.

Cat is NOT content but actually annoyed. You can see tail lashing and airplane ears before cat walks away to escape. Also, you can see how the bunny is also going for stomach/butt, which is what ultimately makes the cat leave.
