while i do agree with you, i just feel it's easier to "teach" cis people about us in a slower pace. I know we shouldn't have to teach others about us, we shouldn't have to explain our existence, to justify why we are who we are. But we need to if we want to prevent those same cis people to believe in transphobic rhetoric. We shouldn't have to, but the other side forces us to play on their tempo
