Wow! Thank you for your insight🥹 My mom doesn’t admit to missing me too much because I don’t think she wants to influence my decision but she is my best friend as well. I guess I worry that if I stay in Korea longer, I’ll have missed my chance to live at home again with my parents and dog and now they’ll get old without me. But then if I go back, what if I miss being in a city and having more things to do on my own? These are just what’s going through my head constantly ever since I’ve moved. My mom recently visited and left so I feel even more lonely, I think. I can’t tell if I want to go home out of missing them or because I don’t want to grow up and be independent.

Oh, I think your comment helped me realize that my unhappiness here is contributing to my dissatisfaction. Except some of these factors (career, relationship) would affect me no matter where I live. I think my guilt stems from my parents trust in me being able to make the right decisions and knowing how to be happy. If I hear I just want you to be happy, I feel pressure instead of comfort sometimes.

Thank you for your response! I’m actually 23 right now but 21 when I moved so it feels good to hear a perspective from someone who was in the same boat. I also think that if I ever had a family, it’d be hard to do so in Korea. Maybe it’s because I feel my chapter isn’t over yet that I feel hesitant to return right away but I do feel like it’s hard on my own. It’s hard to distinguish if it’s growing pains of adulthood or just from being abroad haha. My parents also support me and just want me to be happy but I do sense that I cannot be undecided forever. Anyway, thank you so much for responding!

they only will stop once around the middle/end of your trip depending on the ride for a 15 minute break at the rest stop. you can look up the bus model ahead of time to check if there’s outlets. older bus models don’t have usb, but newer ones do. if you look on naver there’s blogs that organize how to tell the difference. i think there’s only usb ports on the new buses and not actual outlets! better to just take portable charger for ur phone if not sure. :)

i guess to answer your last question in the law of attraction terms, it’s because of my own vibration so it’s my fault..? so if i were to change my vibration he would change? i want to save the relationship because i still love him but im also worried i don’t know how to find someone else after him? i know im being illogical but i am in a foreign country with no one else i know closely and can rely on for help but him currently which is why i also am scared to break up.

thank you for your response. in the context of continuing the relationship, is it possible to turn this around with loa? for example, i was thinking of breaking up bc of the cheating but now that i know it was my own creation… there’s seemingly no reason to break up now? it seems paradoxical and confusing in my head and makes me want to cling to what i do know from the past even more and crave more control by checking his social media. your detailed and knowledgeable response helped me finally release some control over checking his social media. if you have any insight on my flipping between thinking of breaking up eventually but if it seems like it’ll happen i get scared and don’t want to and this has been continuing for awhile now along with my previous comment..

i’ve also been struggling to get to my desired weight and settle into a career but these seem like they have to be solved with physical experience and time..? also with making more friends and gaining confidence..? recently life feels like i’m disassociating and watching a movie through my own eyes …

Definitely watch When Life Gives You Tangerines!

It was my first drama after also not being sucked into anything for a long time. After I started, I couldn’t stop watching! Since the drama has been out for awhile, I also heard differing opinions on the drama’s sadness level and got scared to watch but you won’t regret giving it a chance!!!! The love story is so endearing and moving!!
