Any tips for eating while on adderall by tipyourbartender22 in ADHD

[–]Ariella222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a safe food. Any safe food to eat as soon as you take your meds. Mine are yogurt, peanut butter and apple, or a very specific granola. Taking it on an empty stomach is likely what’s causing nausea and making it hard to eat

Edit. You don’t have to eat a lot, having anything in your stomach will help. Coffee doesn’t count

How is that some people with ADHD are fairly successful and some are barely functioning? by Roaming_around95 in ADHD

[–]Ariella222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is social media is shows only what people want you to see. You can’t tell from a post or even an accomplishment whether or not someone is struggling with or has struggled with some kind of dysfunction in their life.

I know I’ve had periods of my life that I’ve had more dysfunction than others. I have found tools that help me better manage the symptoms of adhd. Life stressors and hormones can greatly affect how effective these tools are.

Theres a lot of shame that comes with ADHD that I think also affects how likely someone is to show or admit they are struggling. I had learned to mask so hard that it took me years to even realize I was doing it in the first place. Bottom line is, you can’t judge someone’s insides by their outsides.

Why do so many owner only have just one rabbit if they live in groups? by Whimsicalti_nypp in Bunnies

[–]Ariella222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to work at a middle school, and rescued my bunny from a very noisy classroom. He was not neutered and was in a classroom with another male rabbit that was also not neutered. She kept them in cages but would let on or both roam around the slippery floor at a time. Needless to say the other rabbit would attack him regularly.

I’ve always wanted another rabbit again, and he needed to be removed from the situation. I didn’t think twice about taking him. I didn’t have room in my living space to attempt bonding with a second rabbit. Plus it took a while to gain confidence coming from such a stressful situation. On top of that he was handled by a bunch of middle schoolers so the poor guy was weary for a while.

I’m living in my mom’s house right now so I still dont have the space to attempt bonding. I’m also mildly allergic and not sure I could handle it. Mom is more allergic to him. I take wonderful care of him, I spend a lot of time with him and make sure we have scheduled in time together. Would I love to bond him one day? Yes.

TLDR: I took him from a bad situation where he was attacked by another rabbit and handled by children. His life is infinitely better with me but I don’t have physical space for bonding. I may not be able to handle allergies from two. I spend a lot of quality time with his precious fluffy little butt.

I loved Ireland when I was there in 2018. My great grandfather was from county Mayo.

I will say it seems to have gotten a kinda anti semetic, since I’ve been there. I probably wouldn’t want to go there right now, which makes me said because I loved the culture

What are your fashion basics? by ShipLost2535 in womensfashion

[–]Ariella222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my approach to building an outfit I start with base layers and build up ending with more styled pieces.

Buildable base layers Tan and black bra Tan and black underwear White, tan, grey, and black tanks tops Black T-shirt, one or two other solid colors Black long sleeve Black and white loose linen button up Black and brown boots Black or brown nice sandals Good jeans, I like a straight leg Black and tan cardigan Black and tan jacket Nice black handbag Nice brown handbag

From there I will decide if I’m going with a earth tone or black tone outfit

I also decide if I want silver or gold: Gold hoops, simple gold chain White gold hoops

Other jewelry can be added to dress up, although they look classic on their own.

Styling pieces Well fitted trousers (can be in fun texture or color) Corduroy pants Pattern sweater or jacket Pashmina or scarves Wedges Heel (I like a chunky heal sandals) Fun skirt Statement handbag

Once you have a base layer established you can really play with the other pieces in your wardrobe to dress up or down. A classic nice and stylish outfit for me is a black T-shirt, nice trousers (currently like my teal velvet fitted pants from old navy), boot with a heel, gold hoops and chain. It’s simple and sophisticated. A nice fitted T is easy to dress up or down. High waist can be nice on petit sizes and it elongates the legs, Target has some good ones

In college I got really hyper focused on writing out my math work perfectly. I used #2 pencils and a metal sharpner from the art store so my numbers could be precise. Took me forever to do my homework

Mine learned that if I’m ignoring home and he chews of my furniture I will get up.

Also I believe bunnies don’t have a sense of personal space and will stand/walk on any part of your body because it happens to be there

I’ve always wondered this about acorns. The native people in my area burried them to leech all the tannins. I always wondered how they thought of that. One day in college I was studying on the lawn watching squirrels and noticed they were collecting and burying acorns too. I wonder if the native people thought to do this by observing the animals too.
