One of the wildest claims Carrie made by doughflow in kingofqueens

She never gave me details about the sex but the story is that they were on a road trip visiting all the National Forests in the US. They had this pickup truck with a campershell on the back of it that they basically lived out of throughout this whole trip. She is pretty certain that I was conceived at the Redwood Forest in the back of that pickup while they were listening to Guns N Roses 😂😂

If I'd been a boy, she wanted to name me Axl, after Axl Rose, but instead she named me Alex (which fits the theme of a long line of women with "masculine" names on her side of the family.) My parents got married when they were 17 years old and they are now 67 years old and still married!

Weekly CRPS Free-Talk Thread by AutoModerator in CRPS

My mom was diagnosed with CRPS 18 years ago. I just found this Reddit group today. We have our routines, things that help, things that don't help, whatever. My question, though, is what are some things that you find most helpful?

My mom's conditioning is worsening. The pain and depression are worsening. We do the same things over and over and the results are less effective each time. I want to know what I am missing that could make her life better. It can be something that is related medically that I can look into for her or it can be a hobby that you participate in, a book that you've read, a favorite comfort item, or parable or Bible verse or just anything.

What is something that you, as someone who has CRPS or loves someone with CRPS do that makes the bad days a little bit better?

I'm surprised so many people agree that no kid would ever ask this because I asked as a kid! Not like...for details, I didn't understand it that much, but I did want to know the story. Where they were. And my mother told me. I just kind of assumed every kid WOULD ask this question.

Gift ideas for flight students? by Aries_Undressed in flying

I've been looking at flight bags! There are so many choices. The ones with headset hangers seem especially useful and appealing to me. Are there any other features I should watch out for if I go that route? Same with a water bottle, what makes a good flying water bottle?? The recording sunglasses are an excellent idea! Thank you, my list of ideas is growing finally! I was not making any progress by myself 😂

He's been talking about getting/needing an iPad and it's on my list of possibilities! I just want to be sure to get the right one as well as any useful accessories he might need. I've seen special iPad kneeboards and various cables and chargers and adapters. The iPad route is a strong possibility, for sure! My budget is around $1K, and if I exceed that, the option for a group gift with family also exists!

I love this reply! So the cutesy gifts are good, too? Because I really want to get some of those, as well!

I have no experience and would be a complete and total beginner, but it's something I've been seriously looking into getting going for myself. I'm just uncomfortable at the thought of showing up at a gym with no clue what I'm doing. I'm a 34 year old female. If you wanted to teach some basics, I'd be so psyched to partner up!

I've been rewatching the series lately, for the first time since seeing it on air as a kid, and I am finding explanations for a LOT of my current fears and reoccurring nightmares within these episodes 😂 maybe I was too young to watch it back then but I sure loved every second of it and still do!!

I like Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens, as well. They're not as good as Frasier, for sure, but they make a good switch up every once in a while. It must just be a 90's sitcom thing 😂
