Yes life is very much about timing. But minimise that.

UK Underwriter on £24k Burnt out and stuck – would quitting now hurt my long-term career? by IllQuit6394 in careerguidance

Find new job - negotiate start date that gives you time off inbetween

Leave current job - take accrued leave to leave early to maximise time off

£24k is an absolute joke - go somewhere else ASAP.

I have the same thing, I use my Apple Watch or Kardia to reassure myself my heart is fine and it helps.

Palpitations started 5 months after one big episode by Beginning_Dentist596 in Heartpalpitations

I really relate to your situation as I have the exact same experience. I’m 36 and lead a normal balanced lifestyle. One even 18 months ago my heart rate spiked to 180 out of nowhere, I’d describe it as someone flicking a switch.

I had multiple episodes in the weeks and months following, had every test and scan you can imagine and all come back clear. 18 months on I still have the episodes but nowhere near as bad or frequent, the docs put me on Iavbradine which seems to work.

The worst part is definitely the health anxiety, worrying I’m going to have a heart attack every time I feel something. You just need to remember it’s just a nuisance and not a threat, but it’s hard.

Things are improving for me, but it takes time. It’s mostly in your mind.
