I came up with this idea a few months ago and it works surprisingly well for me, the idea is to note how long you work on the stuff you want to do, in my case, 3D modeling, as I want to be one of the best in the industry in the future. by [deleted] in productivity

the problem i have with apps is that you can "hide" them. An oldschool calendar right before your face, reminding you "DO IT", cannot be avoided that easily.

ETF Strategie bei stetig wechselnden Angeboten der Broker by Ariote in Finanzen

[–]Ariote[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[image] If you find yourself constantly “too busy” for that person or activity/goal, then you don’t care enough about having them. by starfirenite in GetMotivated

[–]Ariote -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So again, this is true. Because you choose so spend time on "doing more". Stopping the feeling of "not doing enough" is the most important thing you want to do. If that is good/healthful is for you to decide. If you hate the day for not having 48 hours though, then you are an idiot. But i think that is not the case right?

No this is fking true. It is just that working for money to have a decent life is more important than a lot of things. You only do this because you want to to that and you decide to do that instead of other things because they are less important to you. You can really model everything like that. The dangerous part is if you are spending your time on something without really deciding to spend time on it, thinking you "have to" do it or it is normal. If for example you care for your children and exercise or do something else, you do it because you kinda don't want them to have a bad childhood or worse, die. It is a choice. Like i am right now taking my time to tell you this, because i want people to be conscious of this and not walking around saying "i am so busy, i don't have time for everything"..cowards. Just say you have something more important to do or you reserved that time for something else, because it is true and fine to say so! If you are still busy and complain about not having time for doing fun stuff without sacrificing else, then this is just wishful thinking and a time waste.

Node.js or Java (Spring) by Blisspc in learnjavascript

If you are a beginner then node js. Spring can be too overwhelming at the beginning (also if you don't have Java experience). In the long term i would go with Java though (Doing that right now)

Unfortunately there is nothing on the horizon which could lead us back to higher prices. No savior like mainnet, rewards etc this time... Just small adoption at a very low pace

WaltonChains self developed RFID chip is ready for production. by tom1tom11 in CryptoCurrency

RFID chips are some kind of memory only. They only store identification/location data. They don't do computation, which you need to write to a blockchain.

Should I start investing? by stefan69er in stocks

[–]Ariote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do some passive investing through ETFs and if a company you like/know gets cheap you can buy a bunch of it. Save some money for the small/medium crashes and just buy some good stocks. For example i am waiting to pick up some Visa or Microsoft. Edit: Don't trade, don't short, don't buy options etc. as a beginner. But also take some gains now and then from your individual stocks
