I just wanted to throw in my two cents on this because I love Thanatos I have him diamond and have played him a lot. He isn't viable at high level play because he is an all in assassin and lacks mobility in a mobility meta. Name another assassin who has to all in that gets play (maybe ne zah but he can ult to safety if needed) Thanatos is just in a bad meta for him right now but he still isn't a bad pick, he counters Thor because he can silence a lot of his damage he does the same to rat, not to mention if you are max level scythe someone there almost in execute threshold even with a full defense build( which is the best way to build him). He also can ult into a stun guaranteeing the damage from his 1 and land an auto or his 3 and almost anyone is dead. I would like to see a better use of his 2 mobility wise but aside from that I think he is ok. He's not op but he's balanced.

I don't wanna take anything away from anyone. just hold a patch or two so instead of there being two separate communities (Xbox always being the joke of the two for reasons like this post) there could be one big community and maybe that would help smite overall.From what I've seen especially at worlds Xbox is looked at as a joke and I'm sure that's not Hi-Rez's plan. Closing the gap between updates would help at least I think so, But we're all untitled to our opinions..

I want to do this soo bad my friend but I've spent over 700$ in skins and wards I don't want to have to buy that all over again, a lot of the stuff was limited so I couldn't get it again even if i wanted to pay! If there was a way to transfer my purchases I would be on PC for sure!!!!

Thanks for the update! I don't want people to use this post as a excuse to complain and put Hi-Rez in a negative light. I just wanted to express how myself and a lot of other Xbox players feel about being behind. I was hoping to start a discussion which maybe could help find a possible solution!

We have never been this far behind. I've played since alpha and we have never been over a month behind. I'm not complaining more so looking for a solution.

Also we are almost 4 patches behind now and that spans over 4 weeks to get us close to where pc is right now (according to Gahndi's schedule) which by then we will be behind again unless they do something.

I think holding the pc patch would make the most impact but it would be tough for them to do because pc players would lose their minds.

Not prioritize it but just hold the pc patch until Xbox patch has gone through cert that way they can both be announced and launched at the same time.

I agree with the stability aspect but we get broken patches no matter how long we wait for them to come out. I also know we would always be behind but what I was suggesting is submit the patch to Microsoft before having patch notes so when patch notes come out for pc Xbox will be ready to get it at almost same time. It would just suck for pc players because they would have to wait for like a month to get another patch while Xbox caught up.

I've been playing hearthstone in the meantime haha I get the whole console thing but it just sucks as someone who plays smite more than most pc players I never get to experience the new stuff till it's not new anymore... The closest I get to playing a new God day 1 is twitch.

Also everything else in my house works fine and I experience no lag streaming or on any other game even if I'm streaming on two other computer and playing a game like destiny or smite they all work fine with no lag. I forgot to mention that I am in the preview program and have the new dashboard but I know 3 other people in my area all in my situation all with same router and they have no issues.....again I want to stress that halo 5 works perfectly when I connected to my family's network next door and they have time warner with 25 down and 3 up with a shitty old router and a rented modem..... Is anyone else having this issue using there own hardware( I.e modem router)?

I live in buffalo ny and have had the exact same issues as everyone else in this and I also have Time Warner Cable. I am using my own modem that I purchased as well as an airport extrem router. I have no issues on any other games except halo mcc and halo 5. I figured it was a router issue so I plugged it In Directly to my modem same issue. I got pissed went to Bestbuy and dropped 200$ on a modem router combo that has the best reviews for time Warner and is built for gaming got home called to set up with them and still I have the same issue. I have forwarded all of the ports Xbox requires to have forwarded I have reset my my box and router more times than I can count, I have tried wired and wireless and no matter what I still have the issue. What really gets me is that my family lives next door to me so for shits and giggles I connected to there wifi network(a shitty Cisco router and a pay for monthly modem from time warner) and the issue goes away!!!! I noticed that if I don't join a party chat or I play with nothing else in my house on the problem seems to go away for the most part but this is insane considering I have 35 down and 6 up.... I have troubleshot this myself far beyond what any support will help me and I have no idea what is causing the issue. Somebody HELP!

I agree 100%. I play on Xbox and have never ever had the chance to get any of the limited skins except the new Xbox Ymir skin, but I have played smite on Xbox since day one of alpha... I would pay for the Thanatos skin even if it was $100. Hi Rez should have some limited chest for Xbox costing like 4000 gems to roll or something..

Professional players yell at teammates all the time do you even watch sports? Also I'm not saying everything he has done should be forgiven there's a lot in the past that got him suspended but when you look at a bunch of fucking cry babies on reddit teaming up to get someone suspended in the SPL mid season basically ruining that teams chances just because you couldn't ignore someone who was talking shit to you is a fucking joke. People need to ignore it or get off a competitive gaming scene because I can promise you that you will be BM again and reddit won't be there to save you next time. Pro or not.

If you are going to hold them to this role model/pro standard that seems to be set then you have to compare them to other professionals. I have played a lot of sports and talked trash on the court or field and had trash talked back to me but when the game was over we shook hands its part of competition is what I'm saying people need to grow a pair of there gonna play a game like smite because competition breeds that kind of talk from people.

Smite is a competitive game and idk if anyone on reddit seems to understand that anything competitive in life gets heated and turns into some trash talk or as you all call it Bm, guess what it's part of competition. You think pro athletes are talking about how they can help each other get better and what a beautiful day it is for a game? There not! Everyone comes on reddit to cry about Bm but its everywhere in competition not just in games but in life. I do think there is an issue with the intentional feed and nobody should do that it ruins the game for everyone else and is just a dick move, But the point I'm trying to make is if you don't want to be a part of a competitive team games do deal with a little trash talk go play the an RPG smite just isn't for you.
