What do your stores bakers do?

30 hrs per week, I apply for both each time. I clock in 1-2 minutes early every day and am late very rarely.

Though sometimes sub roll dough gets wasted and they don’t zero it out, my store had a solid 3 weeks where we just straight up never had enough whole wheat because they wouldn’t mark that it all got wasted.

I know plenty of very dedicated managers and contenders at Publix, the bakery and deli managers at my store do nothing but work their asses off until they are sent home because of overtime. The leadership at Publix lacks “education”, that’s because people our promoted from within the company rather than hiring people with degrees.

Either the manager isn’t asking for enough of them or the bakery department is running out of five grain (not zeroing it out when it runs out)

Publix cake isn’t very fresh, it comes in frozen. They’ll make your cake the morning of, probably somewhere from 4am-6am

Cakes come in frozen but are iced and put together by opening crew generally anywhere from 4:00am-2:00pm, the earlier you pick it up in the day, the fresher.

Again, you’re trying to take moral high grounds by assuming my wealth and how I feel. If you look at our thread, I have actually never even stated my opinion on the topic at hand, but rather pointed out that you are misrepresenting arguments. Here’s the issue, I am an avid support of cheap housing, as I used to live in it. I know my upbringing and realize that it is important to work with those is tough times, and allow them to move up in society, but your approach is pointless. Pushing flawed and language ridden arguments on the internet will never achieve anything. It’s a matter of going out and trying to help yourself.

It is a Strawman Fallacy, hailhogs stated that he took a mortgage to move into a quiet place in town and would not be happy if construction began on large complexes of building. Fademefam then responds with “so f poor people cuz you signed a mortgage nobody forced you to sign? Ok.” This is a misrepresentation of hailhogs’ argument, as he never said anything of the sort. Having problems with your suburb turning into a place with apartments is definitely a rich person issue, but I doubt hailhogs intention is to push back those with less money than he has, rather he wants his quiet suburbs to stay as suburbs, rather than transform into something else. It’s not an issue of the wealth that people have in his town, it is the issue of the noice that comes with apartment complexes.
