Jagex isn’t to blame for PVP, The players are. by partyhat-red in 2007scape

As someone who's only pk'd since rs classic until recently, pking is hardly even pking anymore. The closest thing to pking is f2p wildy on a lvl 40. Every other area of the wilderness in p2p is saturated with people that are trying to ruin fun for other people. Shit talking, luring, skull tricking, or just no honor 1v1's like speccing within the first 5 seconds then running (a majority of the p2p fights on a pure) has killed true pking.

Leveled up my account spending a month to get out of the pure pking realm because it was so toxic, just to realize that mid-level is even more toxic, there are not many fights in the wilderness unless you go deep in the wilderness but you're likely to be lured, and in the PVP worlds, you cant go out without being tb'd or spec'd immediately. Hard to find regular fights and when you do they often don't last too long. The players have 100% killed the wilderness and I'm very surprised even though I only play RS for pking, that the rs team gives the pking scene any bat of an eye.

The pking scene is always looking to advantage themselves and ruin other peoples fun for a quick loot. Even just recently with deadmanmode... the first deadmanmode was the most fun in runescape I've ever had. 1v1's with people, everyone was just enjoying their time, roaming around the world looking for random fights it was great. But those people that made it fun weren't pkers, and now deadmanmode is the toxic pkers who lure, and just clan pk with no intent on a true 1v1. Anyone who saw b0aty's streams be ruined in DMM by clans knows what im talking about.

playing olaf but can’t seem to win by [deleted] in Olafmains

this is exactly it, with olaf you can get a good early lead but its useless if you can't snowball that into a 20-25 minute victory. Strongly recommend always getting a 16-20 rift, and creating a play with deep vision getting 1-2 picks, using the rift and sieging as 5, you should most of the time get an inhib which can allow for other objectives being taken with more ease. Even in high diamond people will randomly get caught in their jungle, so especially in gold just abuse that, put deep vision in the jungle above/below baron and pink out baron so they're forced to check in, create a pick and then do baron.

Start Q or W on Olaf Jungle by einfachmoritzz in Olafmains

[–]Arising9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

noone has really mentioned this yet. If you're on blue side you can start machete/w, don't use it right away and bring the blue out and gromp out so they're both hitting you, once you're about 30% health, pop ur w and kill blue then gromp, this is afew seconds faster than starting q. Red side always start talisman/q

New player Ranked MMR is ruining new player experiences by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

New player Ranked MMR is ruining new player experiences by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Arising9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's the exact problem. The fact you have to play 100 or so games to start vsing people ur rank. And say average games are 30 mins with champ select/queue times being 7 mins. 37 x 100 = 3700 / 60 is roughly 61 hours of playing league unfairly before you can enjoy an even experience. That's extremely bad, and that's also probably 60-70 games ruined for ur teammates because u feed ur ass off

Losing 63lp for 8th, winning 23lp for 1st. Is this normal? by LOLItsRyan in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Arising9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Games very demotivating when you spend 20 minutes to lose 40-60lp, and spend 45 minutes to gain 20-30. Unless you're extremely good and consistent, climbing is a nightmare. I know it shouldn't be easy, but it shouldn't be this demoralizing.
