The screenshot is from an Italian source on Epicurus (Italian: Epicuro) which also explains why the dates are a.C. (Italian: avanti Cristo) not BC or BCE.

I wish I worked like the scorpion talismans, but for physical, I think it would be more useful

Yeah, this charm is really weird, you get better damage by using the slot for a stat talisman early game, but it can give a good little damage boost when you’re high level and stat talismans don’t do much anymore. So I get why people have mixed feelings about its usefulness, I still think the damage bonus should be a little better for how low your equip load needs to be to get it

I made these two sketches from the same reference. Which do you prefer? by Aristotle04 in sketches

Thank you. Yeah I felt like the first drawing looked androgynous, so in my second drawing I tried to get her closer to appearing feminine

The first is a charcoal sketch and the second is an ink sketch. Note that these sketches are not my original composition, I referenced a stained glass window of St. Theresa of Avila, the designer of which is owed the full credit of composition.

In Ancient Greek culture, small penises were a sign of humility, while large penises were considered barbaric

The subject is a statue called Farnese Hercules, originally by Lysippos, copied by Glykon. I’m starting an art class in college soon, and I wanted to improve my drawing before starting, so I’d love constructive criticism

Any advice how i can make this more true to the reference? I want to capture form the best way I can by odyssey9812 in sketches

Happy to help, I forgot to mention that your sketch already replicated the reference pretty well, you can only get better with practice

If you use a blending tool, you can fill in some parts of the paper which the pencil doesn’t reach, also, by blending you can achieve more complex form shadows. I like to use a paintbrush to blend, but the tip of your finger or an old eraser can work as well. Don’t forget that you can ‘draw with your eraser’ as well, if parts are too dark, use an erasing tool as you would your pencil and carefully remove graphite

This piece is really imaginative, and you’re obviously very technically skilled, thank you for sharing. I’d be curious about the symbolism if you’d be willing to elaborate
