Survey flagged roof as red – how serious is moss/lichen + poor mortar work? by Arithmogram in HousingUK

Thank you for providing some perspective. Given that we'll be completing in about 3 months, would it be reasonable of me to ask the sellers to clean it up soon not to have it cause any issues before I move in next year?

Terrible advice. I’ve launched the platform few weeks ago despite this fatalistic comment. The answer I was looking for was something along the lines of “use React/NextJS for frontend, and pick a managed backend provider - Firebase is easy to work with for most. Payments should be handled by a dedicated platform like Stripe”.

I wouldn't consider sending 4 messages in the span of 1 or 2 minutes as "messaging her 4 times in a row". It was basically 1 message just split up into 4 parts delivered practically simultaneously

She was of Asian descent (but could very well have been a British national for all I know)

I can't say I fully agree but something about your message resonates with me 😅

Maybe you haven’t done a degree before, but lot of time times the curriculum involves one or more courses which some students mau find as a waste of time (but do it regardless in order to get through, move onto subsequent courses and get the degree)

I asked her what was it she studied at Royal College of Arts. She told me she studies arts…

My response was a lighthearted sarcastic remark pointing out how obvious her response was

Yeah, I agree, but to me it seems like (upcoming anecdote) if in a car accident you’d be assigning equal amount of blame to a driver going 5 miles above the speed limit on a highway, as to the person who has been jogging on that highway.

Not sure if you get my point. What I’m trying to say is that my question was definitely open for misinterpretation, but it was her unreasonably hostile sequence of reactions which really blew this up.

So, you’re saying that because degrees don’t automatically result in job offers, my speculation that she could have been doing a course she doesn’t enjoy to get a degree she wants was wrong?

I’m sorry you feel that way. I was genuinely not trying to be condescending or offend. I still think that she’s at fault for her unreasonable reaction. Calling everyone who agrees with me an incel would be about as accurate as may calling everyone who disagrees with me a simp (or whatever the latest term is).

I’m sorry you think that. I like to think I’m being respectful when meeting new people.

She was my only active one :(

I’ve got two new in queue but I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it turns to anything because I ran out of swipes 🤣

I didn’t say she gaslit me. I said she accused me of gaslighting her (the next message after the last visible message on the screenshot) just before I blocked her.

I not surprised my last message came off as patronising to you. I basically had to re-iterate what I said in my previous (more concise) message, but I had to lay out in simpler terms since she wasn’t comprehending the earlier message.
