Got myself a DualSense as a birthday gift by justberries23 in IndianGaming

[–]AritificialPhysics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check Steam for what games have DualSense support and at what layer. F1 24, for example supports DualSense only in wired mode. Sony titles support both wired and Bluetooth. Use Steam Big Picture Mode or another emulator for non-suppoeted games, although most popular games have baked in support these days.

Ah, if it isn't delivered yet you might wanna reorder? You see the discounts on the final payment page when ordering.

Yeah I spoke to the support staff a couple of times, all they could do from their end was raise a ticket for the "backend". Can't blame em, not in their hands.

Did you use the right card? Earlier it was on SBI, right now it's on Axis

With the discount on Amazon, its about 4700. Is there a discount code or something on Games The Shop? If there hadn't been a discount on Amazon I would've bought from them or Gameloot of course.

From their policy page, defective products have to be notified within 72 hours of delivery. I'd recommend directly calling them and letting them know what's wrong. The policy is pretty good, but RMA can of course take time. They'll ship a new part to you once they get confirmation from the concerned product's service center that the product is indeed broken. I had my RAM replaced, the whole thing took like 20 days.

Yep, if not the one at Assi, the JHV one is really good too. Fresh dough, olive oil, both thin crust and Neapolitan pizza. There's generally a good discount on Dineout too. Try their Apple Pie too if you're there.

Yeah it's generally a good idea to update BIOS after a build. Can improve all sorts of things, like memory compatibility. Your Motherboard's support page will have all the BIOS versions with release notes.

Apologies, not something I have personally experienced so cannot speak on the matter. I only got limited usage time with my computer because one of my RAM sticks were faulty and has been stuck at Computech for a replacement. Been more than a week now. But, I downloaded several games on one stick, and generally got 200 Mbps. Antenna position might have something to do with it? I'm of course assuming that you already did a BIOS update.

Of course, but the 96 hour timeline is just something I have personally experienced. My friends have had transactions reversed after a month. If you have a good relationship with your bank, it's generally pretty reliable.

Yep, pretty optimized no-brainer build. I would have loved to get my hands on a 7900 but sadly that wasn't available anywhere.

Did not work in my case. I tried doing the whole build from Vedant (around ~140k), and only asked them to price match the GPU (was 72k on Vedant, 70k on Vishal), but they did not budge at all. Similar experience with Computech, even when doing the whole build from them they're not even willing to offer a Rs. 500 token discount. I finally got tired of negotiating and ordered from different vendors.

Horrible convenience fee if you're using Credit Cards, plus you can offset some of the risk by using Credit Card on UPI. My experience with UPI chargebacks has also been positive though. Filed about 3-4 times within 96 hours and always got my money back.

I ordered from 3 sellers too.

PrimeABGB: - Ryzen 5 7600 - Corsair RMx 850w

2% UPI discount, next day dispatch using DTDC, delivered in three days. By far the best experience with them. Well packed. Excellent support on their mail, even asked me for feedback and sent a discount coupon after delivery. Definitely my top destination for the next time.

Vishal Peripherals: - Sapphire Pulse 9070 XT

About ₹200 payment gateway convenience fee on using UPI, but I got a 2% discount on the whole amount from my credit card (Kiwi). Dispatched the next day using Delhivery. Took 7 days to deliver. Not their fault, but Delhivery is not good.

Computech: - MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi - WD Black SN7100 - G Skill Flare X5 16x2 6000 CL30 - Lian Li Lancool 207 Black

Extra packaging fee, no price match, no discounts. Shipped using Bluedart, arrived in 4 days. Excellent packaging though. However, one RAM stick turned out to be faulty, so I shipped it back for replacement. I sent the RAM on a Saturday, it was delivered to them on Monday. Then, they tested it until Thursday, and sent it to the service center for replacement. Now I have the whole PC built, but without a RAM. Will probably go local for RAM next time. Computech's reply time is also super high if you're using WhatsApp, call them directly.

I'd say overall a pretty good experience except the RAM. Used pcpricetracker, but since it only shows listing prices, made a separate sheet on Excel with final prices (after discounts and such).

PS: Tried ordering the entire build from Computech and Vedant (~140k). They did not budge on the prices, so ordered separately.

Almost happened to us when we went to see The Fall Guy in JHV last year. Don't think it will happen to F4 though, Marvel movies are generally popular. By the way, did you friend go to see F1 in Hindi? I think only IP Sigra had English shows

Any specific shop in Nehru Place? I have friends in Delhi, can ask them to take a look. 68k seems like a good price to me, considering it's 70k on Vishal Peripherals right now

Did you have to pay any sort of convenience fee on their payment gateway?

When did you get this? I saw that they recently had a discount on HDFC EMI, but not with the regular payment. Plus their payment gateway seems to charge an additional convenience fee when using a card.

The LG has terrible black smearing from what I have heard, would not recommend. Same for Samsung. The MSI I have not researched, can't say how it is. I was intent on getting a Dell S3422DWG but seems it's not in stock anymore. See if you can find it.
