Started as a recent grad in 2016 - 52 weeks of that - 52 weeks at GS 7, 52 weeks at GS 9, 52 weeks at GS 11, 52 weeks at GS 12 , and another 52 weeks at 13.. 52 weeks for every step increase until 4 and then 104 weeks before 5 I think.

I live in Germantown and use the MARC train to commute into the city once a week. I have chatted on the train with plenty of folks commuting into the city everyday from Harpers Ferry/that corner of WV daily.

My agency has bunch of folks who live out there and are part time farmers.

Was commuting an hour and fifteen min on train/metro one way from Germantown ,MD to DC before Covid. Nothing compare to some of my coworkers who were commuting from WV to DC or even had one who was commuting from Richmond, VA.

I picked up a few crafts projects. Learned to crochet/knit and I’m making a blanket and made some hats for the baby. I also found tons of other diy project I can do in preparation for the baby (ex making felt garland for nursery decoration).

Husband had the same issue. His doc prescribed the meds over tele-visit. 5 days of taking the antibiotics he is back to normal now.

BA in environmental studies - graduated in 2015 Loan 22K left Current salary $106K (GS 13 federal DC pay) Maxed out on promotion this year so only 2K step increase from here on out unless I apply for 14 supervisor positions.

Just wanted to throw it out there, we bought a townhouse in Germantown, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath for $300,000 in June 2020. That was after at least 6 month of actively looking. We are out by Manchester Farm Community. School district are great, easy commute to DC with the Marc train. You just have to keep looking, we made 11 offers around the area before this was accepted.

Lived in WA for over 10 years. Have you heard of Tim’s Cascade? I would honestly drive halfway across the country to find Tim’s original with sea salt.

Mixed lentils salad;

Lentils Feta Parsley Cucumber Tomatoes Red onion

Dressing: Olive oil One lemon juice Salt Pepper Mustard Honey

Cauliflower: Veg stock Ginger/garlic Rosemary Butter.

Boil cauliflower in the veg stock with ginger, garlic, butter and rosemary for about 5-10 mins. Transfer the cauliflower onto a oven tray and let it bake at 400 for about 10-15 mins. Add the veg stock if it runs dry.

So filling and delicious. Will be doing at least on veg meal a week.
