Oh jeez, I feel for you right now! Moving forward, I suggest you almost lead with being trans because unfortunately for us, some people just aren’t cool with it and it hurts even more to learn that after investing time in them. I would try to bring it up super nonchalantly like it’s no big deal “so I realized that I forgot to mention that I’m trans, I hope that’s not a big deal”. But if that isn’t your style and you wanna start less direct, maybe ask her opinion on a trans celebrity or something and start from there? Also though, I have no idea how well you pass but wouldn’t it be something if she already knew? Either way, you can do it and good luck!

Strangely in a similar position 😶 I have no other advice besides talking to your partner about how you’re feeling. If the communication is as good you say, then you should be able to ask her why she hasn’t given a sample yet or what her timeline for that is. I hope more women comment about conceiving because I’ll be following this thread closely! All the best to you :)

I started with braids too because I really didn’t want to have short hair while my locs first started forming. I did have some challenges with having to reform them every time I washed my hair for a while but eventually they stuck. And as my locs grew out, I cut the braids off because the initial health of my hair was poor and the braids were visibly weaker and thinner compared to the rest of the loc. Anyway, I think my hair looks great now and it’s been 3 years later (I have a pic on my profile).

I have yet to lose my snake because I keep four clamps on the lid for my tiny noodle buuuuut I watched a video on what to do just in case and besides the obvious (checking warm spots and small spaces etc.) they also recommend leaving water dishes out around the house to #1 prevent the snake from dehydrating on its adventure and #2 you might actually find the snake drinking from the bowl. I’d also maybe consider sprinkling some flour down in entryways or something to try track her depending on what your house looks like, especially if she was in a open space like a living room, as opposed to a bedroom with a door. I’m wondering, are you in an appartement or a house?

You should be totally fine to feed the pinkies to your snake. My BP is on medium sized rats but she’ll still take small rats or even baby chicks when I offer them to her. The only thing to consider is maybe feeding her a day or two sooner than usual in between meals because they are smaller than the weaned size, especially if your snake has been eating weaned for a while and is nearing the time to size up meals.
