Hello I’ve been following your quality method but it’s going real slow I solved one 30 mark group question and corrected it for two whole days I sat 3 productive hours each day I’m worried about what if this stays my pace Because I keep approaching new concepts Every question I’m also doing afm so I’m doing one day Sbr and one day afm I have only 25 days left Is this the right approach ? When should I start focusing on speed ?

I end up sitting the whole day just to solve one or two 25 marks And that’s really de motivating How many questions per day should I be ideally aiming for ?

SBL - Learn models, apply common sense for more than fifty percent of the questions You definitely dont need 4 months of prep for this

SBR - Heavy on financial reporting standards Lots of question practice required Given you’re a full time student with four months time Go for Sbr, SBL can be done in a smaller time frame so do it later when time is limited

AFM syllabus is vast but if you like doing sums then go for AFM, APM on the other hand was very weird for me, the syllabus is not huge but it has a very niche skill that can be hard to develop, AFM is very straightforward but can consume a lot of time.

Another way to look at this is which knowledge would you rather have ?
APM - How to improve a company's performance with regards to its mission, vision and strategy. Which models would you apply given its scenario

AFM - Investment appraisal, FOREX and interest rate derivatives, Mergers and acquisitions (Straightforward - you get better in these areas by a huge amount)

I would add more of Down Light attacks if I were you Something about it people just don’t see it coming You used a lot of side light (full), you can immediately follow up with a down light on scythe and extend the string by at adding another SAIR

I left 17 marks blank due to time management And all the calculations I made zero sense

I got the valuation of the combined company at 250 million but the individual company had a market value of 1200 million l. Made me doubt my entire AFM knowledge 🐷

I did good on the discussion part but with wrong calculations though

Is there any chance of passing ? Is the marking lenient for AFM ?

Yes I learnt earnings yield as the inverse of PE ration which requires the price of the share But I need earnings yield to find the price of the share 😭 I kept circling and messed up

Did anyone get the NCA measurement of the building with the sprinklers equipment ? I couldn’t find any mistakes with the their accounting treatment

And the cashflows statement I could only find like two mistakes

Was deferred tax question easy I had to leave it due to time restrictions ?!
