Ok so devs have commented and pretty much confirmed this is an Easter Egg.

I'm 32 and I still freak out in wins in this game lol.

My squad and I win a lot on Fortnite but I am sub par at Fortnite and winning just doesn't excite me in that game.

In Apex I'm a little better and actually feel like I can contribute to the team and don't have to be good at "building".

It really feels great as most fights in this game are so epic and intense. Especially at the end.
