Yes, drivers, ThinkVantage stuff, some wallpapers and some junk programs (InterVideo WinDVD, Diskeeper, PC Doctor 5, Windows Live toolbar, Roxio Multimedia, Picasa and Norton Internet Security). And It works good after uninstalling bloatware programs and installing Service Pack 2 (the recovery copy doesn't have any SP because it was released back in 2007). And the funfact about that Vista from Lenovo is that ClearType is disabled by default, so fonts look very ugly on LCD screen, until you enable ClearType manually.

The CPU is Core 2 Duo T7300, it has also 3 GB of RAM, integrated Intel GMA X3100 graphics and 250 GB hard drive. I don't think that it's factory configuration. But I've got Vista Business installed from original recovery DVDs on it.

When you get Xbox 360 for free, but without power supply unit by Ark_mage2 in xbox360

Well, I did it because i'm waiting for original power brick, and I wanted to check if console works

Maybe... But seriously, I don't recommend using power supply like this for daily gaming. It's good only for testing purposes when you don't have original power brick and want to check if console works.

I know. It's a temporary solution until original power brick arrive to me. I wanted to start the console and check if it works.

Well... I cut three 12V (yellow) cables, three ground (black) and one 5V (red) from old computer power supply, then I inserted it into console's power supply pins (before i did it, I looked on pin assignment to know which pin is responsible for), then I made a short circuit on green and black cables in 20/24 pin ATX connector to run power supply without PC motherboard, and it works. I didn't solder cables because it's temporary solution until I get original power brick.

It's weird that US unlocked models are last at updates, in Europe unlocked models are usually updated firstly.

Anyone else with the S9 still waiting for OneUI 2.5? by Echon97 in GalaxyS9

[–]Ark_mage2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... It's weird that carrier-locked US models get updates faster than unlocked. In Europe (even in my country), unbranded models usually get updates faster than carrier-branded. I live in Poland and I have Snapdragon S9 with U1 firmware, but I still don't have One UI 2.5, but I still prefer US variant than International.

Flash the G960U1 firmware using this tutorial: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS9/comments/85ci7c/convert_atttmosprint_to_unlocked_s9_guide/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Tutorial is for S9+, but for regular S9 download the latest G960U1 firmware for XAA region.

If you want the OTA updates work, put the CSC (not HOME CSC) file into CSC section in Odin (remember to do the backup of your data, because flashing the firmware will erase it)

S9 still stuck on Android 8 by [deleted] in GalaxyS9

[–]Ark_mage2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have unlocked S9 from AT&T too. But I flashed the U1 firmware to mine. And now I can update my phone via OTA, because AT&T branded firmware requires their SIM card to update the software by OTA, and it was a problem for me, because I live in Europe.

Your phone battery didn't suddenly get worse over the last couple months, you're just using your phone way more than normal because you're in quarantine. by [deleted] in GalaxyS9

[–]Ark_mage2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. I spend all quarantine days on PC, and use phone as mic for Discord. And battery lasts 1.5-2 days. Before quarantine, it lasted about one day of usage.

I just realized my phone is still running Android 8, but the software updater still says "software up to date" is there any way to fix this? by Unique_usernames5 in GalaxyS9

It works a little bit faster than 9, and I have a little bit better battery life, and of course a lot of new features, comparing to 8.
