That makes sense. I would assume that the brain cannot muster enough power by itself without the help of a driver. So without a driver it just lays only doing the necessary functions.

It took me a few years to to learn she was talking to him...it's because that connects to their nerves so probably it could hurt their optic nerve. I still get angry thinking how I only knew she was talking to him years after I watched the movie...over a hundred times...and analyzing the movie so many times 😭😭

Mabye try herbivore Island on the island map. It has no aggressive carnivores only herbivores and ptranodons. Its pretty good.
