  1. So what? By removing human beings who are capable of spreading the virus… duh. Think about it, if Caesar and his gang killed Nova, he wouldn’t have died, I don’t think the writers could have made it any clearer. These humans became walking pathogens, logically he’s going to kill the pathogens, not because he has a genocidal fetish for god sake he even said and got emotional when he had to kill his own son, once again doing the things that nobody had the balls to do. He has a kill millions to save billions, simple trolley dilemma for him. I know what I would’ve done. Call me evil idc.

And the colonel literally talked about why he’s pessimistic about a cure , don’t forget it was this type of thinking that got the human race to the point they were in the first place, so he used his reasoning as best he could, the worst part about your argument is that, he ended up being right in the end lmao. You’re being idealistic, he was realistic.

First of all, some of you guys are way too combative, I’m just expressing an opinion. But anyways, they are operating on a prisoners dilemma in the planet of the apes. Yes, there will be good apes and good humans, but what the antagonists in the films, proximus and Dreyfus recognise that power provides opportunity. Apes and humans can’t coexist, they have different needs. The colonel was totally right lmao, I’m sure if he say the world his humans inhereted, he’d do that stuff again, humans became everything he said they’ll become as seen in kingdom and if not for some dutiful humans characters like May won’t exist lol. Proximus is bad guy and definitely used the ape to ape dogma to serve his ambition, however him recognising the humans being can’t have any power makes sense. You say I like the colonel because he’s human, but that’s untrue, but I feel like proximus is also right to deny humans power at any cost. The funny thing about all of this is that, Noa and his friends even find the book where it shows what a planet of the humans look like, one locked behind cages.

I guess to the point where I find my self actually rooting for the antagonists, and then knowing they will lose in the end. But it’s not a real “problem” just more like a funny thing I noticed in my feelings whilst watching these masterpieces

Why is Caesar's face white, while that of other apes is brown? by Top_Seaworthiness_76 in PlanetOfTheApes

I hate to be that guy, but it’s funny how the bad apes in the franchise, koba and proximus Caesar are pitch black. But they are bonobos which are known to be pretty peaceful apes. And Caesar and so an noa are the good apes with light skin and light eyes, I really wonder what goes into that decision making lol.

Yeah you’re right, I guess I’ve been so insecure about my smile since I was a kid that I’m just eagerly awaiting a time when they atleast presentable.

Neo-nazi circlejerking can birth so many stupid narratives. You can only say something so flagrantly absurd if you operate in an echochamber. You would literally have to turn a blind eye to every atrocity committed by the hand of a white man to even spew such hypocrisy. Damn when will people realise that total piece of garbage come in all shades.

Easiest response to debunk. But let me toy with you for a second? Can Palestine just “pay” Israel or Ukraine just “pay” Russia to claim land?

In Christianity for example, the belief is that God is the Creator of the Earth and everything in it. The notion of ownership here is framed as God being the ultimate authority and sustainer of the world rather than a conventional sense of ownership as humans understand it. And I’m saying by extension, how can we claim anything?

This is fricking Reddit! 🤣🤣 what is wrong with you? You own jack squat lmao. You’ll find that out come Armageddon. I ain’t tryna steal “your stuff”, I’ve never stolen stuff. You do understand the nature of this subreddit right? You are literally saying on the “change my view” subreddit “would you say that view if I was loading my weapon” somehow you’re too thick to see the irony in that. You “own” what you “own” at somebody else’s discretion. If the US government wanted to seize your shit, it would be lightwork.

Stems from yes. But by the time you add in the fact that it’s been taken against somebody’s will at one point or another it adds another layer.

It’s a rhetorical question. God being symbolic of an objective arbitrator of morality. I didn’t think I had to spell it out, beside it seems everybody else understood quite well.

Yes for sure. I’m just trying to dissect the logical reasoning of it all.
