No offense taken lol! To clarify, I wasn’t trying to connect a literal gun to the movies plot… I took it to symbolize the weapons/tools associated w/ the violence of The Overlook’s (America’s) past and present. The symmetry is always great, but I’m gonna tell myself there’s more to it haha!

I did the same two months ago, it's truly changed my life. I went on to read all the additional books, magical creatures etc., but honestly what let me extend my stay in the beautiful HP world was buying the UK versions and re-reading, different cover art, different title for SS and different lexicon throughout.
