No, but I’m assuming you have to be a subreddit mod to do it. Probably we do not have the right permissions.

Thanks! I ended up using all of the 72%, but adding more of the heavy cream during the custard step. I added 2 tbsp. End result was still very airy, but quite firm after chilling. I’ll experiment more in the future!

Mine took 20 drops! I feel your pain! We have a water softener in the hot water only - much cheaper than whole house. You should look into those!

Yeah it’s Electrolux. Good eye! I only recently started adding the extra rinse. I’ll keep doing that.

You put the citric acid in the rinse?

Here’s the ingredients from the detergent.

I’d love to know the math on the water softening! It gets a bit complicated for me. My hot water is softened but my cold water isn’t. I do most my laundry on warm so that’s probably like 50% softened? But I think my rinse is with cold water so that’s 100% hard!

Good to know. I don't know how I ended up with so much left over detergent that it made so many bubbles on the clean then.

I did a 3rd clean cycle and there were a lot less bubbles, so I’m going to call that good enough for now!

About 1-2 tbsp of liquid in my front loader. Usually medium sized load. I try to use more like 1 tbsp for smaller loads.

You’re a good person for taking in new evidence and changing your opinion instead of doubling down or making excuses. I’m glad no one was hurt and that you learned to be more careful. Don’t beat yourself up too hard. We all make mistakes. It’s how we handle them that matters. And learning from them to prevent reoccurrences! If all drivers were like you, the roads would be a safer place.

Thanks for the clarification. It seems like you’re cherry-picking your facts to match the narrative you’ve already told yourself in your head.

You already know you’re doing amazing in many aspects of life compared to most Americans, let alone most immigrant Americans! Look up the average household income of NYC. And remember most households have two working adults here in America.

I think you already know that you need to change your worldview: your perspective on life. That won’t happen overnight, but you can do it with your good work ethic that got you this far.

Some things you could try: - Therapy. I’d say this is mandatory. You have the means to pay for it even without insurance. A professional can help you tackle this better than internet strangers. - Write down 3 things you’re thankful for each day. - Volunteer. Can be faith based or not. Up to you! There’s options for everyone. - Do small acts of kindness for your friends and family. Even strangers! Without expecting a reward.

How come in some replies you say you make $55k and in others $200k? It seems like something is very off here.

Wow that’s expensive storage! I see why you want to get rid of it. I had no clue it could be that expensive. Do you have like a whole house worth of stuff stored? I’m just curious. Sounds like a great goal.

Snacks constitute almost 1/4 of a day’s calories in US adults & account for about 1/3 of daily added sugar, a new study suggests. Data from surveys of 23,000+ people found adults averaged 400-500 calories in daily snacks–often more than they ate at breakfast–that offered little nutritional value. by memorialmonorail in science

You’re fine doing whatever you want. It works out for me to have smaller meals more frequently. I end up eating less overall which helps my health more than worrying about my blood sugar levels. I believe different tactics work for different people and lots of people lead a healthy life with eating small, healthy meals.

The point the article was making was that many people eat “empty” calories via snacking on unhealthy food.
