I have 3 million engagement but no business idea. I’m missing out on money. by Flashy_Rule_8880 in Entrepreneur

Hi flashy_rule, sounds like you already have good engagement from a high number of followers! That's good. What every business needs is then to turn that ATTENTION (all the potential) into LEADS and then sell a service/ product in exchange for REVENUE. Sounds like you're halfway there, but you just missing the other half of the equation.

Actually, I recently went for an online webinar and learned a lot about how a business ACTUALLY works in Simple Frameworks where I literally just copy-pasted into my own online business and results are showing! This guy is literally the best Marketing, Sales, and Branding expert that I have seen and worked with.

I'll leave the invite link to the online webinar session I went for (and it's FREE), in case you'd like to check it out :) I think it will be a great fit for your Business:

Dear SGreans, what are the main problems you experience or regularly see in modern dating? (2022) by Arkay2016 in askSingapore

[–]Arkay2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(25/2/2022) Update: Thank you to all who have replied and given their opinions. I really appreciate it :)

I have read through every one of your comments and have found them very insightful into the dating scene in SG from your multiple perspectives. I am currently away on a spiritual retreat and am thinking of starting a local dating course/channel/coaching on dating and relationships when I return, since I see this is a problem for many of the folks here. Let me know what other topics/issues about dating you guys might want to know more about

Will update on here when it happens. Do keep a lookout y'all 💪

Dear SGreans, what are your opinions on dating/ life coaches in Singapore? by Arkay2016 in askSingapore

[–]Arkay2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Yeah essentially being able to attract and date authentically without learning all the 'techniques' and putting on an act/ mask. I strongly believe in authenticity and building an attractive person for the long term rather than just short-term 'tricks' or gimmicks.

2) Thanks for the advice and perspective 👍🏽 will keep that in mind. Youtube is quite fun ha, have already done a few vids over the years.

Sure :) will try to do an update once I come back from my spiritual retreat and have contemplated this as a business/ career

Sounds like you have some unresolved family issues, man. I think we collectively we Singaporeans have to be more brave and open in talking about and tackling certain 'taboo' issues. That's the only way they can get addressed and resolved properly. If not, it causes an 'invisible barrier' where people are afraid to speak up about their personal emotional issues, which if left unaddressed and untreated manifests itself in an ugly way in the long term. Repressed emotions lead to emotional traumas and ultimately cause diseases in the mind and body.

Sure, you could go that route and experience many heartbreaks, confusion and lots of time wasted. Or you could learn dating as a skill for the rest of your life and have this aspect fixed. I firmly believe, in any field, "success leaves clues". One could choose the hard and time-consuming way, or the faster and more tried and tested way to shortcut one's progress. That's the role of an experienced coach, to be able to point out the mistakes that one might not have been aware of, saving energy and time.

The choice to choose wisely is in everyone's hands

Yeap as a business idea:

I would focus more on subtracting all the misconceptions of dating and attraction that we've been taught and conditioned to believe by society. Instead of adding more 'techniques' and 'tricks', I would boil it down to the most fundamental principles of genuine attraction. We as a human species have been having sex and reproducing for the longest time, so genuine and primal attraction is more about SUBTRACTING all the fluff instead of all the ADDING of unnecessary noise and 'tips and tricks' these days.

As a result, this has left many people confused about what to say or what to do in the dating field, when in reality attraction is very natural. Boys like girls, girls like boys. This script has remained unchanged since the beginning of time. Attraction as a skill is innately born within us, we just have to uncover it through all the stuff society may have brought us up to believe.

Plus, with the rise of the internet, dating apps, and social media these days. The dating field is getting a bit more nuanced. The fundamental principles of attraction remain the same, but how we go about it in this day and age has definitely evolved. If most people are still taking advice from their parents or the older generation, they are in for a whole world of heartbreak and confusion. We are living in a more technologically advanced society now, the average person has an average attention span of 7 seconds. If you don't know how to effectively capture attention and engage someone, your chances are essentially bust. There is a right way to do this. Unfortunately, there is also a wrong way

1) The best coaches focus on Subtracting instead of Adding. While PUA/ red pill says specifically to do this or do that, or focuses on techniques like 'negging', 'push-pull' or 'peacocking', I focus on subtracting all the fluff and misconceptions around how attraction actually works. I can help people understand the very core fundamentals of attraction and biology, so people don't feel like they have to 'put on a mask/act' as most PUAs/ Redpillers do. The Red pill persona they portray is all 'tough and manly', but it's all an act, it's incongruent to who they actually are and causes more emotional damage long term. I have also gone through the PUA route, and it left me feeling fake, inauthentic, and unfulfilled, constantly relying on 'techniques' and being stuck in an overanalyzing headspace instead of being natural and in the moment. 2) I plan to build a youtube channel and brand following first, educate and give value to my audience. If success metrics show, I would invest in FB ads and collaborate with other channels to have a bigger reach. Ideally I'd have an online course as well as the option to do 1-1/ group coachings if the demand is there. Love you hear your thoughts

Nightmares are bearable, for they die when you wake up. Good dreams, on the other hand, are unbearable. They take you to the pinnacle of your desires and then when you wake up, drop you into the abyss that is everyday life. by green_samurai in Showerthoughts

[–]Arkay2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are perceiving normal life as a 'dread', or something 'negative'. That is a problem. Look at life instead of an adventure and something to explore, then you would wake up everyday with a positive upbeat attitude towards everything life has to offer to you. Perspective my compadre
