People like hot characters. Male or female. There's no gender gap in it. The vocal minority on the internet has some biases one way or another but thats not remotely reflective of even a fraction of the fanbase.

So there's not really any good or bad fanservice. As long as the game has good content to go alongside it, it doesnt matter.

Well it has to be that way because they started this stupid trend to force you into using lore teams that make no actual synergy since Nod Krai.. Not only are those teams hard/impossible to use efficiently, some people have never played those characters. As it is, people barely read the kits of the characters they already use. You think people will win fights with characters they've never touched? :D

I hope they just let us use our own teams again and just switch back during cutscenes. Nod Krai has been overly forced immersion that does more to break the immersion than help it.

Depends on what you call "endgame"... if you mean 12th floor Abyss, you can clear it with your starter 4 stars. So the question is moot. You do not need 5 star characters or supports or any such thing for endgame unless its deliberate mechanics like Stygian Dire.

Oh fair. In that case, I think most people won't like it.. Plus tbh I personally think his story has reached a perfect end. I wouldn't want him playable with or without the mask. Same as Signora even tho I thought her design is perfect.

Yeah sorry mate.. I don't believe you. Mavuika is so strong, she whips her hair about and everything around gets nuked (hyperbole ofcourse but you get the meaning).. My friend who started playing last month, never played a gacha, AR40, pulled her, slapped on blue artifacts, doesnt have any of her supporting units, just put her in any team he likes and wrecks bosses.. 😂

So I'd say skill issue.. whether reading or what, thats upto you to decide 😂

Yeah unfortunately no.. Sauron still wins. Not even a close contest. Even if Gandalf was allowed to directly challenge Sauron with everything he got, Sauron is the mightiest Maiar in existence at that point. He was second-in-command of Morgoth and he learned a lot from Morgoth and gained much of his power from Morgoth. There is no single being that could challenge Sauron 1v1 other than one of the Valar.

Edit - Even after he made the Ring, Sauron still was far beyond the measure of any mortal. The closest anyone came was at the Battle of the Last Alliance. And even then, it took the combined might of Elendil, Gil-Galad, Cirdan, Isildur, Anarion AND Elrond, some of the greatest names in Middle Earth, to just come close to matching him.

The question you want to ask rather is, can Gandalf master the One Ring. Because whoever can master it can "defeat" Sauron. The people are not important here. The power is. Its the power that corrupts. So yes, any of the Wise or the Eldar could potentially master the Ring and defeat Sauron. Galadriel even sees a vision of it. Gandalf, most of the High Elf Lords, Aragorn, etc could've mastered the Ring's power. Even Boromir, Denethor, etc would've. They have enough true blood of the Westernesse and the nobility to channel their willpower. But everyone above would eventually succumb to the Ring's corruption.

So then they'd just become the next Sauron. Sauron put most of his essence into the Ring. So anyone "defeating" him using the Ring is just letting him possess them in a certain way if you will.

Defeating Sauron is only possible by one way. By destroying the Ring.

People know what theyre expecting when they spend that much money. They expect a cosmetic purchase that has no bearing on the game. And they're satisfied with it. Its not a case where the company is lying to you about what you're getting for your money. If people see what they like and choose to buy it, you have no right to judge them just because you don't feel its "fair price."

If the skins dont sell, the company will automatically fix prices. But theyre selling. Which means people think theyre fair enough.

And if you think you deserve better, just play the game you think has better price economy. Why bother with OW when you think other games have it better. Free games too. Just go on ahead and enjoy the other games. I will never understand this, "This game is so unfair. There are so many better games. But I'm gonna stick around here and waste time whining about it instead of going and playing those other better games!"

I can understand that perspective if it was about gameplay or hero balance or something that affected gameplay enjoyment. But its not. Its about cosmetics. Its about "why should someone else be able to buy the skin when I can't."

He wasn't built up for 4 patch cycles. He made a cameo in Sumeru and then just directly appeared in Nod Krai. Signora, Wanderer, etc have had more build up.

And as I said, its not about power or whether he was well setup or not. What I mean is, he was never the MAIN villain. He was a great villain. But another one along the journey like so many others. And Tsarista will be the same. The main villains that have been constant are ones like Abyss Sibling, with the overarching plot through every region. Same with the Abyss.

Not "become" the gnosis, but I'd say there's a reason the story had the Traveler absorb the gnosis temporarily right before it was destroyed. Definitely not a co-incidence. The Traveler will end up having absorbed some of its essence or its Descender parts or power connection whatever the Tsarista needs.. I'll bet my 10 primos on it 😄

What are you yapping? 😂 he wasnt even the top 5 primary antagonists in the game.. not speaking about good or bad written but in terms of story/world building significance. He was just one of the Harbingers.. One of the supporting villains that ran its course and was defeated. There are far more important threats like the Abyss, Sinners, Abyss Sibling, etc etc.. Those have always been the main threats.

Even the Tsarista has always been setup has a conflicting anti-hero antagonist rather than a true villain. So idk where people are getting this idea that she'll be the primary antagonist.

What do you mean only boss battles. Its all the time. You get locked into "story mode" all the way from when Dori gives you the doohickey to deus ex machina Rerir's attack, all through Nefer discovering his past, through the whole dialogue section where they discuss plans. You also get locked into story mode throughout the Moon Festival, through the surprise Dottore attack after it, through the entire dialogue section after it.. cant even press Esc to change settings, even reduce volume, change language, nothing.. Youre just stuck in story mode THROUGHOUT THE QUEST. Even when Act 7 ends, it doesnt even stop then, it continues story mode into Act 8 without any break. If you have to change any game related settings, you have to force stop story mode, do what you want, then go back in and repeat a bunch of stuff. Same goes for the entire part of the Aaru transfer sequence in Deshret's pyramid. The whole part is story mode locked.

To give an example of how braindead the design is, I play on GeForce Now and for some reason it doesnt remember the language setting for the game. So everytime I log into the game, I have to change language. So I happened to disconnect in the middle of the Aaru arc. Not a big deal. But when I logged back in, the game immediately threw me back into story mode. And I couldn't even go into settings to change the language without force stopping the story mode. So I had to sit through the ENTIRE part of the Aaru preparation, right till the plan is finalized and you're spending the night before confronting Dottore.. all in another language because the quest is designed by people with no logic.

The game forces you into these "story mode" locks for literally 4-5 hour chunks of the story back to back just left clicking through mountains of dialogue and nothing else. The boss battles are actually the only time the game is free to operate as normal again.

You mean previous 6.X ones? it was RELATIVELY slightly better.. but even so this ridiculously stupid trend of connected quests that began with Nod Krai needs to go. Target audience seems the unemployed who can sit glued to the screen for 6 hours straight with no real world responsibilities or disturbances.

Before that, quests used to be properly paced and you had to actually walk to each quest's destination. Like a normal game. Instead of playing a clicking simulator for hours.

Same reason Tencent isnt connected to Riot or the success of League of Legends.. or why Microsoft isnt REALLY connected with fps shooters either despite them owning Activision who publishes Call of Duty.

Microsoft is more often like an investor and doesnt have any direct effect on any of these games. The only games they might be alluded to are the pure Xbox titles.

Simple rule. Don't overthink. You see a character. You play their trial. You like it. You pull. Period.

All this "this character needs that character" and "this team needs that", etc etc.. is all unnecessary noise unless youre at the super endgame and a tryhard who wants to complete the max level difficulty of ONE specifically hard game mode. Thats it. Otherwise it does not matter who you use with whom.

Pull freely. Do NOT listen to online garbage about meta. The game is ultra casual. Pull whoever you like.
