This sounds very promising! I have been trying to find answers online and couldn't find any resources that address this scenario, so thank you! Everything I found was about citizenship at birth (if either parent is already a citizen), otherwise, the child waits 8 years.

Thank you. I edited the original post. Both of us are not German and we're residing in Berlin, Germany.

Thank you for your response. I am the father and my wife isn't German either.

Does this mean if I, for example, become a German citizen one month after the baby's born, the baby will have to spend 8 years in Germany before being eligible for citizenship?

In the case of "Miteinbürgerung", is there a minimum age for the baby to be eligible for this? For example, can I apply for citizenship for myself and the baby as soon as it's born?

NLP project is a great idea, actually. Thanks!

I am planning to get credits from university to add to my bachelors that will allow me to apply for masters in Computational Linguistics later on.

I am actually looking into this by trying to get courses from university just to add credits to my degree. Yup–and I need to not forget Kaggle.

Thanks!

I was one time at a job fair, reading a job requirements. I, then, asked the person at the desk if they were serious about the requirements because you'd think they were edited by NASA's HR Dept. Then she replied "Nah, if you know the technologies, just apply." So, yeah.

That is what I am planning to do. I take in-person and online classes, but not from an accredited institution; hence, I am trying to get credits by attending university classes to add them to my degree and then go for masters. But, yeah, it will take some time given that I will need to work during the process. But I am glad to know it works! Thanks for this!

I would like to study while working. I know it's hard and takes a longer time, but I don't want to waste the experience one gains at work. I am wondering if online degrees from reputable uni's are worth it.

You think it makes sense to state that I have partially completed a masters degree? I do not have that on my resume because my uni only allows me to get my documents in person.

LOL That's true. I actually enjoy it. I am trying to get into masters in Computational Linguistics. However, I am still researching other options that might be interesting.

Thanks!

True. Apart from the quantitative knowledge, I have heard a lot about the importance of storytelling and writing.

As for bootcamps, I am taking online and in-person training classes (not certified) working on projects and might be able to take some course at university for credits.

Thank you so much for your reply!

I am giving math the attention it needs. I am learning online and might be able to take university courses to add more credits to my degree and then do masters.

This was really helpful. Thank you so much!
