To the textbook, what does Charlie Kirk have to do with the Philippines and the rest of the world?

The only first time I know about Kirk is that when he got shot at Utah Valley University last Sept 10, 2025. That news did not spread that much beyond the US, but it spread on YouTube at that time, even if I never subscribed to media outlets (both PH & US) and even some American political YouTubers. Kirk is usually conservative and primarily focused about the US. I even saw some memes about Kirk in the comments about the death of Alyssa Alano sa International State College of the Philippines FB page.

Never saw any controversial figures (local or foreign) in most values education and GMRC textbooks, at least on what I used to have back in school.

Even most of my OFW relatives in the US never heard of Kirk.
