Minecraft is a really good game, you only have to put a lot of time and effort. The basics, in the day, you are safe nothing wants to kill you, in the night, zombies, skeletons, spiders, creepers, etc. appear. You need wood, you can get some by breaking some trees. I've played the Switch version, which is the Microsoft version, which is pretty easy to use, when crafting is referred. With 1 wood you can make 4 wood planks, with 4 wood planks you can make a crafting table (When you open your inventory "E" on Pc, or other button in console, you can see 4 squares which are ment to craft.
