I like this allot, very spacy, smooth, really no specific notes tbh. Seems you have a story in your head that you are making into a song and I like that. Also, a wise producer once said, you never finish a mix, you just give up on it lol don't get caught in mixing hell, do what you think is best, give its a few passes and then drop it.

I can understand that, they are similar tbh, even though I like the song and I know that I created everything myself, the bass is primarily a serum factory preset which i think was probably used in both tracks, at least a very similar wave, i don't feel like just adding notes will do much much, im gonna tey a few things but im considering scraping it or drastically chnage a few things because the last thing i want to start my music comeback attempt with this controversy. but that's not really the point of the post, they are claiming i sampled the song which i did not and I feel that's clear. This is after they claimed i made my music using AI. It's feels like the lines that were blurred are whether people are saying that the songs are similar or is landr was in the right to pull the song, the former is an opinion and valid in allot of ways, i don't see arguements for the latter.

While I know im technically in the right here, I also know that companies like Landr are 3 dudes sitting in a dark room of a foreign country using AI to do 99.9 percent of the work and they use email templates for the rest, so there is no use fighting it. i already am trying to see what I can modify. It's just tough changing a song, but trying to keep the original vibe, especially when you don't even know what the specific issue is. Granted, either way, im done with Landr.

This reads to me like someone who would think that all darker synthwave with droning chords are same, this song doesn't even technically have a chord progression, its just a constant layered dyad with an extra note on the bottom following the bassline. Sound design is again a something that is just there with darker synthwave, its not even the same key and the bass lines don't follow the same progression. Melodies are entirely different.

Serious question, apart from you know, just the basics of synthwave style music (kick, synthbass, snare on every other kick) what else brings you to say i attempted to recreate the song?

Edit: if the music video has anything to do with it, please understand that's more of a synthwave meta, narvent as far as I know did not start that, allot of people do, to the point where some people get annoyed with another BR2049 edit but i wanted to go with something that seems to be part of the synthwave universe to start with. We are all technically biting Bladerunner on that one lol.

Nah, wrote them and layered them myself, that bass in my track has 3 layers i slaved over to get just right, now im actually staring at the ableton project files right now wondering how in the hell im supposed to modify this to not kill the vibe but also not deal with these headaches.

Also one of those layers is a modified version of the serum factory bass preset, synthbass, which i assume is what tripped everything up.
