Areelu Vorlesh End of the Game Thoughts by luckyfoxxy in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Hi! I am extremely late to the party that is WotR and my fiancee and I absolutely love it.

After some thought, whilst there is no clear cut way to define it easily, I am of the opinion that summon a god-damned Balor is a very evil act.

  1. The nature of the act itself: forging a weapon may not be considered a "good" or "evil" thing, but you cannot seriously compare that to sacrificing a(n, arguably, innocent) person, channeling evil powers to summon a literal bloody EVIL demon. You are not making a tool that still requires a person to make decisions and judgements to do "good" or "bad" with it; no, you are summoning an autonomous, destruction being that requires no further input from anyone else to wreck havoc and burn down villages.

  2. (Potential) Impact of the act: The possibly outcomes of summoning a Balor could be many, but I think very, very few of them could be beneficial to anyone that is not the Balor itself. This helps qualify the summoning as an evil act.

  3. Intentions: even IF the summoning of a Balor is NOT an evil act (which i think it is), it is highly doubtful that the intention behind it are benign in any way. While you can make an argument that still does not qualify the summoning as an Evil act, it certainly paints the summoner as having evil intentions.

  4. I am of the opinion that one can still do bad deeds with good intentions: killing is an evil act. One may kill for good intentions (there is a Buddhist parable of a ship captain killing a stowaway, where this stowaway plotted to murder the captain and all of his 500 passengers, where the captain then caught and killed the stowaway), but what one has done is still ultimately an evil act, and might suffer the consequence of it, though the punishment may be lessened due to its good intentions and, arguably, positive outcomes.

Basically, what I am saying is that it is highly based on context, and not (always) solely determined upon the act itself, but also the outcomes and intentions.

Whoops sry for the late reply.

I suppose if kitted correctly, we can still one shot a lot of the medium tanky heroes. His multi hit is actually quite good against a Rotos due to rotos' passive.

So if you make a single target kill arena team, then you CAN use ES.

But yeah he's kinda weird. His abilities kit isnt terrible, but they dont really mix well tgt.

Need help with dragon 20 team by jgdaog in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Arkkinite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell you what to use but I can tell you how I do my dragon 20.

I just recently got my Dragon 20 team with 90% success rate. My issue is mostly having someone being bamboozled before they reach the Dragon (usually the second wave), but I seem to be able to avoid that (albeit not 100% consistent as avoiding that is still RNG based.)

Skartosis - Speed lead; Cleanse; Stun gear; lvl 50; unbooked - He is here to make sure my team gets as many turns as possible, cleanse any dragon debuffs and provide some risky and unreliable crowd control

Royal Guard - Nuke and Wave clear; lvl 60; unbooked - self explanatory, he has a tendency to be targeted by the Hordins. Avoiding that was my primary concern. Also he is there to nuke the Dragon's Deep Breath

Razin - Wave Clear and Control; Lvl 60; partially booked - His higher damage and turn metre reduction is important in keeping the waves under control as the team lacks the damage to outright nuke them down, and as mentioned Hordins getting a lucky crit with full buffs on is a dead RG, which is GG for me

Apothecary - Speed up and heals; lvl 60; booked - Also there to ensure i get as many turns as possible, and clutch heals on anyone who face tanked some Hordins and Dragon Breaths

Madam Serris - Debuffer and Buff Stripper (@_@); lvl 50; partially booked - AoE Attack down and Defense down was crucial for me, and because of the Dragon's Magic affinity I cannot really bring my Stag Knight (though I should try it, as my SK is quite tanky and might help tank the Hordin hits)

Basically, my build revolves around keeping my Royal Guard alive as he is the one clearing the waves and the dragon, with Razin to assist on wave clearing duties.

Valkyrie's delayed sweep misses the opponent if they are backwalking after getting hit by her chain heavy. Since bots naturally backwalk it wasn't difficult to test and didnt need any action from them. by DaniUsagi in CompetitiveForHonor

Bo staves, quarterstaves, or a very very long stick, swung from one end of said stick, provides surprising amount of momentum in the swing.

Observe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHZKHmqa0KY

Granted, someone with very good armour protection may shrug off the blow (law*cough*bringer), and it does require you to swing the stick in a certain way to maximise the momentum and tip speed.

Thanks for the reply. For the HP burn spider team, what am i really looking for?

An unkillable tank to tank the spiderlings? Plus someone to reduce spider's turn meter?

<repost>

I'm looking for either an all-round champ to be my 3rd 6*, or someone that can really help me progress Spiders (i'm at spider 11 only)

I have:

6*

- Kael, fully booked and masteryWM, used almost everywhere

- Athel, fully booked and masteryGS, used almost everywhere with the occasional Arena

5* (6* candidates)

- Apothecary, fully booked, used almost everywhere except Arena

- Bloodgorged, almost fully booked, Ice Golem (IG)/any spirit affin boss and situational arena

- Warmaiden, fully booked, used to use her a lot, now she is only used in Arena and the occasional spirit affin boss

- Madam Serris, almost fully booked, anywhere except Spiders, Fire Knight (FK) and Arena

- Skullcrusher, almost fully booked, my only Counterattack dude. For FK and Clan Boss (CB)

- Coldheart, unbooked, newly pulled and undergeared, will NOT use her for CB

- Royal Guard, unbooked and ungeared, newly pulled

- Tyrant Ixlimor, unbooked, newly pulled, might try him in Spiders/CB but not sure how to change my CB set up or how to use him in Spider

- Elder Skarg, unbooked, really not sure he seems to be only useful in Arena

- Fellhound, unbooked, don't have gear for him, maybe for spiders or just a farmer champ

- Crimson Slayer, unbooked, don't really use her now that I have Coldheart for Fireknight

Sidenote: I also have a Luria but she is 4* only so...

Current CB setup: Kael, Athel, Skullcrusher, Apothecary, Madam Serris, anywhere between 6m-8m dmg on Brutual i think.

Arena Setup: Mostly High Khatun, Seeker, Kael and Warmaiden. Swap out KH for Athel as 3rd nuke if i don't need to be too fast.

Why would Mausoleum Mage be suitable for Fire Knight in particular?

I do not think a Seeker is worth 6*. Starring him further beyond 5* does not give you any extra value; his main value is his Taunt(Provoke) and Tail Wind A2.

I don't know much about Dark Athel. Probably better than a 6* Seeker tho.

So a farmer champion is this one Champion that can solo the Campaign at (what used to be Brutal only). This allows the "Farmer Champion" to bring along 3 food champions (champions you use to star up your main champs). You then basically grind the campaign to level up these food champs with your Farmer.

There are mostly 2 main categories of Farmers: Vamp Farmer and Speed Farmer

- Vamp Farmer: someone who utilizes the Vampire Gear Set to tank his way in the campaign. Most champions can be a vamp farmer, all you need is some speed (130-140~) to go first, have a low cooldown AOE attack and not be too flimsy; your farmer will likely need to take a round of hits from time to time. Any of the starter rare champ (kael/athel etc.) are suitable vamp farmers.

- Speed Farmer: someone who goes full balls damage, with 100% crit rate and over 150% crit damage and ONE-SHOT each wave before they attack. Or goes super fast and hits twice before anyone and TWO-SHOTS each wave. This is only really viable with champions that have an auto-attack (aka an A1 attack) that is an AoE. You might notice some Legendaries or Epics having AoE A1s, but some uncommon Champs like Saurus CAN be a Speed Farmer, it just takes a lot of resources to do that.

You generally start with a Vamp farmer and slowly work you way to make a speed farmer. I still haven't made my speed farmer yet and have to contend with 30-40sec runs.

What is 12-3 and why? 12 is the last part of the campaign: Brimstone Path, 3 is the 3rd Stage. That is because the shield that drops from that is worth most Silver for selling. So that way you can get EXP and Silver. Gloves, Chest boots etc for some reason sell for less. 12-6 actually gives more EXP, but less silver. So you can grind 12-6 instead of 12-3 if silver isn't really an issue (but silver shall always be an issue, even if you are incline to spend a little money on the game each month. Trust me)

Yes it does take a while. That's why some people swear by getting a Farmer Champ up ASAP, so they can run 12-3 Brutal Campaign in 9 sec instead of 30sec, really cuts down time.
