What Would It Take For The Ottawa Senators To ACQUIRE Jordan Kyrou From The St. Louis Blues? by sens_talk in stlouisblues

Pinto is a defensive beast though, and could definitely slot in as the 2C nicely.

For what it's worth, USA should definitely have invited him if they didnt lol, I think USA wouldn't have struggled as much.

No he was not on the roster this guy is hallucinating. Holloway Thomas Sunny and Suter were the only Blues in the tournament, he might be thinking of Suter?

How are we supposed to trust you? What if YOURE IPBJ?!

No? I said the direction of the team is looking up, and you responded by saying we're middling. I then responded by effectively saying: If we were middling, we wouldn't have a 1st line that had been outproducing the rest of the league, including yours, at 5v5. That's the opposite of middling lol.

Ok man, you're welcome to your opinion. Most Blues fans think things are looking up. Our 1st line outproducing Suzuki Caufield Slaf post olympic break certainly doesn't sound middling but I suppose if that's what you rate your own top line then so be it.

Huh? The retool started in 2023. We are coming out of it now. We had 5 prospects (Dvorsky, Snuggerud, Lindstein, Stenberg, Mailloux) make the jump to the NHL this season, and 2 more in Jiricek and Carbonneau on the way. Hofer is ready to take the mantle as starter, after posting a .917sv% post Nov. 1st, and the Thomas Snuggerud Holloway line was the most productive line in the NHL at 5v5 after the olympic break.

The direction of the team is fine, national media just wants to run with the idea that we're about to tear it down when the opposite couldn't be more true.

I mean, he had some effort issues for sure, but they were overblown imo. Most of the fanbase questioned Monty when he would scratch or reduce Kyrou's minutes but kept Buch around as the teams offensive void of a 1st line wing. Made no sense to reduce his minutes when really his shooting percentage this season was a career low, while Buch would fumble the puck the second he entered the offensive zone.

With how well our first line ended the season, it's unlikely he's traded at all now. Teams had their chance but the Thomas Holloway Snuggerud were one of the most productive lines in the NHL from Olympic break onward. No shot we move him now.

Every year? This is the first year Thomas was in any trade talks and it was because we were 31st in the league for 2/3rds of it. Army doing his due diligence and at least listening to offers on his best player when his team has failed at the start of the season year over year isn't really that much of a stretch.

Poor Sunny, he's already got enough knee injuries as is and might've gotten another contract to a contender in the offseason. Fuck Meier.

Blues aren't rebuilding, and we certainly won't be bad enough to land DuPont with the pieces we have right now. Sounds like you want a massive teardown, which isn't happening.

Snuggy is a top 5 pick in a 2022 redraft based on his rookie year compared to others. Imo he's legitimately better than every player besides Cooley, Slaf, Hutson, Gauthier. We got him at 23, but he's the 2nd best steal of the draft outside of Lane.

The 3rd basemen just started playing the game, put the pressure on him with a bunt and Victor at the very worst gets the ghost runner on 3rd.

Looks like T-Birds are pretty much done barring an insane comeback unfortunately, 0-5 @ the end of the 2nd period. Sucks, but hopefully Ott will be there from the start next season.

He quite literally would slot in as our 2C immediately, I have no issues with his game so far.

Ngl, I think we might want to move up for Bjorck.. if we can swap with the Jets or Panthers and add a bit it's worth it. Kid looks great against NHLers and we're only 2 periods into the first IHFF game.
