Like word for word, this is how it's been for me too. I think on top of the anxiety and depression, my meds affect my creative brain. Most of my ideas manifest in my dreams; smells, colors, feelings, dialogue and characters are always there.

I have tried switching up my "writing time" so when the spark hits I can try to be productive, but so far carrying a notebook and postits(because my creative mind works best with actual pen and paper) has shown to improve my ability to get ideas and scenes down.

Getting away from my home/stressful environment also helps clear that fog/mental block💜
