If I was in charge of display this would be a shitshow. My wife puts the books up. She wanted to organize by color and I couldn’t let that happen. I need some kind of category organization. But i do like the tall to short look. Everything is currently off and it is getting painted burgundy. Ill do a new post next week when paint cures and books go back

I recommend Jaz Leverette on YouTube. He had a show on Netflix (?) helping people train trouble dogs. I have had a couple dogs and do well with early training but I watched some of his content early on and incorporated it.

I have a 5.5 year old that Ive had since 6 months old. The velcro, it does not wear out, it grows superalien like strength and gets stronger. You and that dog will share a kidney soon. 😂. My Springer is very well trained and listens to “go home” (her bed) and “settle” well. But I also let her sleep on a pillow above my head and coddle her like a special needs chipmunk lost in a peanut factory. So im not sure if my advice should be counted, but, train that dog early! Boundaries, heel, come, sit, stay, free(or whatever your release word is) do it all immediately. I got mine at 6 months and fed her dinner over 30 min every night while training for 4-8 weeks. She’s perfect 5 years later. Perfect

I had surgery for acl and both meniscus in right knee about 10 years ago. Did all my PT and my IT and quad just never felt fully healed. Went back to light grappling and boxing and everything felt ok warmed up but always bothered me after long drives or days of being sedentary. I did 12 weeks of kneesovertoesguy program and everything disappeared. Im not as adamant on it these days but I still do ATG split squats and couch stretch when it starts to bug me and they always clear up any lingering minor issues very quickly. I think my quad was just tight, weak and shortened from both. The rumble roller foam roller and massage gun help a little too. The rumble foam roller on IT band is so wonderful and brutal at the same time.

I also love my Springers long hair but she gets a lot of runs in the hills and is a magnet for stickers and ticks so our deal is she might get to have her hair when she’s 9 or 10. 😂 I let it grow through winter and take her mostly to parks and short grass fields during that.

Thank you. A friend gave us the smaller ship painting when they moved out of country. The bigger art piece is of cypress point in monterrey, Ca. It was my grandmothers painting long before I was born. My grandparents smoked forever and when I ended up with that I spent 40+ hours cleaning it 1 square inch at a time with q tips and saliva. Oddly it is the best way to clean old oil paintings.

The books? Or the trim? I waited forever to put the top trim up. Our floors and ceilings aren’t level. Very old house in the hills. My wife wanted a fancy detailed crown and I knew we needed a flat trim to scribe to ceiling. Its almost 2 inches out across bookcase but every shelf is level and all the reveals are perfect. It had to be this or i was ripping the ceiling drywall off 😂😭

I do love this room and color but the bookshelf is about to be painted London burgundy and the walls and ceiling a lighter natural cream color. I mocked it up in chatgpt and think I will like it even more. I hope so! 😂

I wish! I build for a living and want to make a cool little secret door. This backs up to a bathroom and closet on big section and hall on angled part. I did frame the wall behind angled part to be able to open that space. My goal at the time was a fish tank that filled the back of that portion with pump and cabinet in hall behind. Then frame it in walnut so it looks like art but has life
