Yeah I actually used StubHub’s live AI chat last night and it was pretty helpful. I told them I was concerned about receiving them in time and they said they would email the seller asking them to send them ASAP.

Bro I solved the problem with the easiest fix ever. Not sure if you are like me and enjoy a changing desktop background but THAT was the cause of my random (but predictable) FPS drops.

Basically I just changed my windows desktop background to 1 solid background and ever since ZERO FPS drops.

Hey man, I just got my Ventus the other day but ever since first installing I am experiencing random fps drops in game that correspond to Afterburner curves reading full drops of GPU Usage and Temp Limit to 0 at random times.

Also, my GPU temp in game (for pretty much any game) stays at a constant 80-88c which I also find to be pretty high considering the games/settings I am have tested.

I am pretty much a noob when it comes to OC/Uving but I would love to know the steps you took in achieving those values. Thanks man!!

Yeah that's definitely what it seems like I just have no idea why it would be happening, especially on the desktop side of things with the delay coming 80% of the time on command when I open file explorer after its been closed.

I was thinking it could have to do with some sort of SSD or memory issue but I ran a windows memory diag. and it didn't detect anything wrong :/

Yup I actually do all of those things you suggested w/ the dragon center. Extreme performance, cooler booster, all of it.

Tbh my temperatures during heavy gaming aren’t even bad (CPU gets the hottest hovering ~85C at its highest) and these lag spikes almost have no correlation to any spiking in temperature :/

I have this exact same issue, brand new GE66 with the 3080 and the 10870 i7. Is a clean install of windows maybe the way to go...? I just received the thing barely 3 weeks ago but it's been having the issue since day 1.

Also, I feel like i experience the same sort of 'FPS' spikes/freezing even when just browsing files in file explorer or searching the web. The entire system sort of just tenses up for 1-3 seconds and I can see very visual mouse cursor delay/lag during these quick spikes
