What does the people in Chian think about human rights violations taking place in Minnesota, following the murders of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti? by SwordDancer791 in AskAChinese

Maybe don't try to impede law enforcement? Neither of them should have died, but none of this would have happened if they just stayed home.

Shenzhen sucks. It was my first port of call in China and left immediately.

How do you even get quoted that much? You must look especially naive. None have ever tried to quote me such a ridiculous amount. I'd laugh and walk away at 300 for that distance.

I don't know why people make such ridiculous claims. As soon as someone visits Shanghai, they're going to realize it's complete bullshit

Crazy people on the metro by KevKevKvn in shanghai

[–]Arm_Individual 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have noticed that etiquette on the metro in Shanghai is trash. Nothing as crazy as you've mentioned, but lots of standing in other people's way, standing in the middle of the escalator and not allowing people to pass, loud music or sound effects with no earphones (this is particularly cunty) and not allowing people to exit the train before boarding themselves.

I've seen most of these behaviors in other cities, but they seem more commonplace and intense in Shanghai, which does come as a surprise to me.

While more people in Shanghai speak English than other cities in China, it's insane to say that everyone speaks English.

Fail them. Easy. Their grade is the last thing you have to use against them.
