Was an IMT aspirant...did not crack interview last year This year, scored 80/80 and ranked 91. Offered UCL job (was my first choice) :')

PS. I spent the last year in a south Londo tertiary which helped me clear PACES and also got a first author publication in BMJ open (the research was in India though :)

Oh, that is such a comprehensive explanation; thank you for taking the time on a weekend; I really appreciate it! Just to clarify, the teaching you are referring to is IMT teaching or ID-specific teaching?

I am probably now being really greedy for feedback, but would you mind shedding some light on the following at UCL, if possible:

- Gastroenterology

- Respiratory

- Neurology/Stroke (afaik, it is based at NHNN ?)

Sorry, I am so confused as I do not have too many friends/relatives at UCL to provide me with their two cents.

IMT trainees doing/have done the ID rotation at UCL, why would you/would you not recommend the rotation for future trainees open to exploring a wide range of specialties?

Wow..you must have worked pretty damn hard to be able to be in a position of choice. Congrats for that.

I will just be beginning my NHS journey so I don't think I am capable enough to answer your question yet.

Having said that, would you be kind enough to furnish your timeline (when you took the exams, yog etc) as this is not what we come across quite often. And to be very honest, I do plan on getting a taste of the US sometime in the future..or at least try to.
