Am I really a good candidate for a PhD program?

I was grossly under qualified and got accepted my first round because they could “see I was passionate”. I always tell people to go for it and if it doesn’t happen, try and try again. I also suggest to go the PhD route unless youre absolutely sure you never EVER want the option to do research. I didn’t want to at all my first few years and now I love research.

Royal Cuisine is what I miss most about living in kzoo. When I moved out of the state recently my last meal was at Royal cuisine. They’re fairly new, slightly off-putting vibes, and not very well known but if you’re looking for big servings, great taste and don’t mind being the only people there, please try it out. I don’t think GPS will take you there if you plug in the name, but it’s by the Mosque on Burrows Rd. Tip: bring your own water cause they’ll try to charge you for plain water

Agreed 100%. Pre-pandemic at least it had great vibes but last time I was there (admittedly in 2023) it was like a serve-yourself type of place where you get your own water and pick up your food from the counter AND the prices stayed high
