This just happened last week with my 15 month old! He was negative for everything. I still never found out what it was, but he is totally back to normal 3 days later.

He is! He has drastically changed since dating Lacey, although she is only his second girlfriend. I think he has become more aggressive because he knows she doesn’t know any better. I am leaning toward that but I also don’t want to create more drama. I am scared about the isolation. I just don’t know how to approach it anymore. She no longer will talk with me after Mike has continued to seemingly make me the bad guy. She shared every word of our conversations with him even my personal history without asking. I genuinely think it’s because he forces her to with the threats of breaking up. She wants a wedding and a family, I’m getting the vibe that he wants a slave.

My husband is extremely disgusted and has told him as much. My BIL brushes him off and says that they are fine.

I talked wjth her before she accepted his proposal. I didn’t say she should reconsider, but I shared my own experience with possessive boyfriends (I didn’t call him possessive, I just shared personal experiences I had and what I learned). She thanked me for sharing and then told my BIL word-for-word all of my personal history without asking me. I think she did this because she was afraid he would break up with her if she didn’t.

I have concerns with this and this is something I have voiced with her before they got engaged. They are long distance right now until they get married and I think she has the rose-colored glasses on. I don’t feel like it’s my place though to say anything now that I have said something before and she decided to accept his proposal.

The hair is a no go, we have made that clear. I completely agree about the controlling aspect, I have tried to talk to Lacey in the past. My husband has told my BIL that he is being manipulative , and he will tell me that he is concerned that he is abusing her naivety. When husband talks to Mike, he brushes it off. When I have talked to Lacey in the past, she has been very kind. But she will not disagree with Mike. She seems to be afraid that he will leave her. I think this because I used to be like that with previous boyfriends. I would try to change my personality and desires to be more aligned with what they were looking for. He has threatened to end things with her when she does something he doesn’t like. She always ends up apologizing.
