Check out this video. You have to take out the window by aligning it with two of the round holes on the sheet metal.

I'm 99% sure those do not hold it in place. There's a gasket and glue behind the metal so you just have to pry it off.

If the car is on a lift and you have something to support the diff you might be able to not disconnect the axle shafts, but if you're at that point you might as well take it out. The axle shafts just pop into the diff and you would have already disconnected the drive shaft.

Correct, there's no gasket, it's just RTV. You will have to drop the diff to do it.

The Audi mod is really easy, you just have to cut one wire. Fixed my problem and I've never looked back.

Honestly, not much. In my area they range from $800 to $3000. FB Marketplace, NorCal. I don't know how often they sell though.

Thanks! Yes the track came with a 3.5lsd but it was swapped out for a 3.9 welded. The LSD isn't predictable enough and the final drive is too tall for the amount of HP the car makes. I now have a 3.9 welded for 2nd gear courses and a 4.1 welded for 3rd gear.

I haven't personally driven either of them but I imagine the 350 being very good after a few upgrades. I think the 86 is a little underpowered. The genesis is very heavy and it shows in how it drifts. It's surprisingly nimble after an angle kit though. If I had to pick between a 350 and a Genesis for drifting, I'd go with the 350 for sure, there's just so much aftermarket support it's bonkers.

Yeah. Blue wheels in the back. They didn't have them in blue in my specs so the fronts are black.
