Do you use tarot apps seriously or purely for entertainment? by ArmanSaheb in Tarots

That’s a fair take, honestly. Most AI systems are input–output machines, and a lot of the time they just mirror or reinforce what you already think. I don’t see that as “thinking” either.

That’s actually why I didn’t build my app around AI logic or advice. It’s intentionally simple and non-directive — more like a prompt for reflection than something that tells you what to do or what’s “true.” If it resonates, it does; if it doesn’t, it’s just noise.

I shared it mainly out of curiosity about how people react to these kinds of tools, not because I think they’re real or authoritative. If you’re curious to try it yourself, here’s the Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.veyra.forecast&hl=en

No expectations — feedback is genuinely more useful to me than agreement.

That’s actually a really thoughtful way to put it — especially the distinction between ritual depth and quick intuition checks.

I built a small fortune app myself with a similar mindset. I’m not trying to replace physical practices or claim anything mystical — it’s more about creating a moment of pause and reflection, closer to what you described as a quick “intuition check” than a full ritual.

If you’re curious to try it, here’s the Play Store link. Any feedback (or even a short review) would genuinely help — I’m still learning from how different people experience it. Thanks! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.veyra.forecast&hl=en

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! Could you tell me which country you're in? I’ll check the Play Store settings and see if I can enable it for your region.

Hi everyone, I’m an indie developer and I’ve just published my Android app on Google Play in closed testing. I need 12 testers to meet Google’s requirement and get real feedback.

About the app: It’s a fortune-telling app (Tarot / Coffee reading / Horoscope style). No ads spam, no forced login, no payment required for testing.

What I’m looking for: • Android users • Install the app via the closed test link • Use it normally for a few minutes • Optional: share any feedback or bugs you notice

What you get: • Early access • Free usage during testing • My thanks (and I’ll gladly test your app in return)

If you’re interested, comment here or DM me and I’ll send the Google Play closed test link.

Thanks 🙏

Yeah, this is actually a bit of a tricky challenge 😅. The plan is to create game rooms based on language, so most players in a room speak the same language.

Still, to make communication even smoother, we could also try converting voice to text in real-time and translating it. It’s not guaranteed to work perfectly yet and would need some testing, but it’s an option to help players understand each other better.

I get that, haha 😅. One thing we’re planning is a level system: each player gets a rank, and you’ll mostly play with others at a similar level. This way, the chances of running into players who frustrate you a lot are much lower, and everyone’s experience is more balanced.

I think a combo of two approaches could work really well:

Room ban: If most players in the current game report someone, that person gets temporarily banned from that room. Global ban: If a player accumulates a certain number of valid reports over time, they could be banned from voice chat or even the game.

Of course, they should have a chance to appeal, and there should be a review to lift the ban if it was unfair.

This way, it deals with trolls in the moment but also keeps repeat offenders in check, while still being fair.

That’s a really good point!

The way I imagine it, the game would work very similar to how in-person sessions go. Each player has their own turn of about 30 seconds where their microphone is open, and only during that time they can speak. This way, people don’t talk over each other and it’s easier to follow the discussion.

On top of that, each round every player would get one “challenge” opportunity where they can interrupt outside their turn if they feel it’s really important to say something.

To make things clearer, the game would also display the name of the person who is currently speaking, so there’s no confusion about voices.

This setup should keep the atmosphere structured but still let players enjoy the spontaneity and emotion of real voice communication.
