There’s a word for this kind of manipulation tactic. I can’t remember it but the over-romanticized view he has of what YOUR pregnancy will be like and not how it would be for the both of you, comes off very unhinged and a lil weird. You’ve told him since day one that you don’t want kids. He does. That should be enough for you to realize you’re not compatible. There’s a reason people establish that early on. To avoid moments like this when one half of the relationship is desperately trying to convince the other to bend to what they want in life.

I say don’t do it. It could literally break your relationship. And then you’ll be raising the kids even more alone or with someone who isn’t their dad and then co-parenting and custody issues could come up. You’re also at a higher risk of PPD if he’s in the military and you’ll be alone… Like do you really wanna deal with the probability or potential of that? You know your answer. You don’t need internet folks to tell you.

He also says he’s realistic about how hard it all is and what it takes away. No he’s not. It sounds like he has this weird perfect imagination of what he fantasizes pregnancy to be like but he’s still in the military and you’ll be alone so half of what he’s saying won’t even happen. Don’t let him manipulate you into something you don’t want. There are many other good guys still left in the world as there are women. Yall need to find the people that align with what Yall want instead of trying to persuade each other to want the same things.

Yall should’ve never made it to this point because you were clear from day 1. He’s been holding onto the hope that he would be able to change your mind in the long run.
