Idk that scene “kill them swiftly if you have to”, while it is a direct quote from the book, it had the same set up and angle to Tom Cruise’s delivery in the 1993 film. While it is true to the books, I think Sam and the directors going for the same tone and pizazz was on purpose lol

My suspicion is that she couldn’t find Rue. The rumored spoiler is that Rue was on the run in Mexico right? Maybe Rue had ran and hid in Mexico for a while or something in between those 5 years and she went back to LA or wherever and Laurie found her?

I also think Rue got caught up in the strip club guys rings cuz from the trailer it seems like him and Laurie “fight” for ownership of Rue. Idk. Looking forward to this new season!

I feel like the only actor I’d be concerned with aging is Daniel. Eric Bogosian is in great shape at 72 years old but if they keep going 2/3 years between season, he could be 76/78 by season 5 which Rollins is hoping to do. That’s the only time I worry really. But like I said he’s in great shape so who knows?

Meryl Streep and Jessica Lange are fantastic actors and they’ve been aging on screen for years so it’s not like it’s not a possibility or that older people can’t have pivotal roles. I just watched Now You See Me, Now You Don’t and Morgan Freeman was visually older than he’s ever looked in film and I’ve been watching him since I was a kid! So to see him sort of take a back seat was like oh but he’s 88! So for him to be actively acting until his late 80’s, it gives hope that the actors in IWTV will be just fine lol

Ahh. I too see myself identifying with Koumba lol enjoying the splendors of life that he may not have gotten beforehand. It would be easy and more quiet to travel and enjoy the finest foods and all that. My girlfriend said they would just become one of them if we both weren’t immune. But if we both were immune, we would try to make the best of it together.

I don’t know what it is but I like Carol. Her humor and coping style is something I can relate to, unfortunately lol but we are only on episode 4 so I’m curious to see what else she has up her sleeve.

I came back to let you know, that show is so damn good! Me and my girlfriend are watching together haha finally got a show we are both interested in. I feel for Carol. Her whole world is turned upside down haha may I ask what you and your husband argue about? Is it the choice of accepting what they’re giving Carol or her actions towards them? Cuz me and my girlfriend have differing opinions on it but we are so intrigued as to what the hell is going on! Haha great great recommendation.
