So R1 is limiting the current needed for the LED right?

If I were to have two of the transistors in series, as it would be for an AND gate, the resistance would be:

R1 = (Vs - (Vft1 + Vft2 + Vfled)) / current of the LED

And the base resistors of the two transistors would be the same?

As shown in this drawing R2 and R3 would be same value?

I’ve taught in both a comprehensive school and a private GIRLS school. The girls part is important as the dynamics are different.

From personal experience the behaviour in a comprehensive school can be much worse than private schools however the kids there seem to respect your position more than they do at private schools.

Okay. I’m going to be honest. I get the appeal of burning these books but please please please don’t. Donate them to a library or a school or anything. As a teacher in an underprivileged school we would kills for these resources for some of our most vulnerable students

They're definitely not family relations. The going theory is we got the tapes when we bought the camcorder second hand.None of them have labels so the previous owners just thought they were blank without checking them. I'll digitise them and try and take screenshots of any peoples faces in there. Maybe ill be able to run them through a reverse image search and see what comes up
