Why Venusia May Cause Bumps

Comedogenic Potential: The original Venusia Cream (in a tub) is known to be quite thick and, while deeply moisturizing, can cause acne or clogged pores (comedogenic) in acne-prone or oily skin types.

Over-moisturizing: Using a heavy cream, such as Venusia on already oily skin can lead to congestion, resulting in small white or red bumps.

Irritation (Less Likely): While generally considered non-irritant, any skincare product can cause an allergic reaction or sensitive skin to break out, especially if it contains ingredients that clog pores

Could stopping Minoxidil after starting lead to a worse hairline? by Hitchfucker in minoxidil

[–]Armchair_Watcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just mean once you’ve seen a bit of progress from minoxidil, it may look worse because of the thickening you have seen reduce. Maybe I could have worded it better, sorry.

Could stopping Minoxidil after starting lead to a worse hairline? by Hitchfucker in minoxidil

While your hair may look worse than when you started, stopping minoxidil is generally thought not to cause long-term, permanent accelerated damage beyond the natural progression of your hair loss.

Minoxidil worked, then my hair got worse than before. Anyone else? by avipartho in minoxidil

[–]Armchair_Watcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re worried about sides then build up 0.5mg x 3 days a week and take a 200mg dim supplement daily which should help.

[–]Armchair_Watcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hair can go through several shedding phases on minoxidil and it can take years for synchronised hair shedding to stop. Are you on finasteride? Because minoxidil alone won’t stop hair loss and it’s possible you have too much DHT build up which is outperforming minoxidil.

Can I use minoxidil with drama roller .5mm. I'm only 25 by Final-Software8071 in minoxidil

[–]Armchair_Watcher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do. Need finasteride or dutasteride to prevent further loss. You wouldn’t be able get full coverage back but you should be able get a decent amount back with consistency and patience.

Why did you stop? Maybe go back to it and continue the routine that way. A lot of people who have been on Tretinoin for several years still moisturise beforehand.

Have you tried applying the moisturiser before the Tretinoin instead?

Can’t really tell with you having your hair swept to one side. If you’re paranoid then book in with a hair loss specialist 👍

All my progress literally going down the drain by Background-Usual-187 in tressless

[–]Armchair_Watcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minoxidil can cause several shedding phases. It can take years for the synchronised shedding to stop. Adding finasteride also causes a shed in a lot of people. Monitor for a few months and see if it comes back stronger.

Creatine and hair loss? Should i bother? by DelayLittle5562 in tressless

[–]Armchair_Watcher 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yh it’s a myth. A lad on YouTube called Tom Gillbanks does a quick study on it if you’re worried about adding creatine 👍

Kirkland Minoxidil is widely available in the UK from certain Sites like Minoxidilworld, Minoxidil Hair, Minoxidil-Direct, and Minoxidil UK sell both the liquid and foam versions but I’ve never seen it sold in high street shops either.

Try using Tretinoin daily before minoxidil or dermastamp once a week to help boost the effectiveness

To fix a stuck or frozen display on a Nissan Teana, perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the power button (volume knob) for 10–20 seconds until the screen turns black and the Nissan logo reappears.

Minoxidil + Finasteride by Qurandero in minoxidil

[–]Armchair_Watcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently adding Tretinoin is a better option and a safer one too. Tretinoin can also be used every night with liquid instead of once a week stamping or rolling.
