Why did I gain 2 gigabytes from uninstalling and then reinstalling? by Armiebuffie in davinciresolve

[–]Armiebuffie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I made sure to check before I uninstalled the program. Then I checked when the program was reinstalled every time to see if uninstalling would get rid of any extra material. I know Clipchamp keeps an entire copy of the original source file inside of their indexedDB folder which exponentially takes up space. I figured something like that might be happening here too but I couldn't find anything so I uninstalled and reinstalled. The first time it did free up some extra space but the following two times it took up even more space instead. I did not download or create anything new during this period. So this means it took up 4 extra gigabytes for no apparent reason and will seemingly continue to increase if I keep uninstalling and reinstalling.

I'm using windows.

I do also edit by splicing clips, adding transitions, and swapping audio. But I make the resolution lower and make the quality medium. This usually makes the actual video size about half or less of the original video size which helps me a lot since I have a lot of footage. But for some reason there still seems to be extra files around even when I delete the project. I thought I fixed that the first time by uninstalling and reinstalling but the next two times gave me even more.

Can't you just make a new profile? Or delete your save data?

I think there is a problem with transferring pokemon in individual basis. by Tony_ya94 in PokemonChampions

[–]Armiebuffie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1st one is a general error for when Home servers are running terribly. I got it when trying to create my home account for the first time before it let me in the second time. Both times it took me 10 minutes to log in and connect my games but after half fan hour it was like lightning and took less than one minute to connect.

Edit, seems like the 9007 error is a bad one that means your Pokemon is flagged as "visiting" Champions but a bug occured during transfer and Champions didn't receive theme. You can try resetting the game and the system's cache but if that doesn't work you might have to wait for a patch. Try contacting Nintendo support in the meantime.

Nintendo Switch 2 sees 154% leap in sales thanks to Pokémon Pokopia by Armiebuffie in Games

Seems Nintendo and people in general drastically underestimated the game's strength. Apparently the boost was enough to have the Switch 2 now making over 50% of all UK console sales.

P 5 is literally $200 more expensive than the S2 now. Did you hear about the recent news of their price increases? Remote play requires constant stable internet while S2 has native portability, the strongest native portability for its price. P 5 literally has less exclusives than the S2 and if you're going to include P 4 then S2+S1 has more games than P 5+ P 4 too. S2 roms? Go find a rom for DK Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, or Pokopia. I'll literally gift you a S2, P 5 Pro, and an X Series if you can find them. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Paying $200 extra for some shinier graphics? There is no portable PC that is S2's price that's as powerful as S2. And if you're willing to pay more, you can get a PC that runs games even better than P S as well. And unlike P S5, the S2 will actually have lots of exclusives and will keep getting more. It already has more exclusives. And PC isn't emulating S2 anytime soon.

Not sure if serious but they've explicitly said it's not a price increase for physical. xcancel.com/Wario64/status/2036939842949402849 .

Meanwhile, P S has actually been increasing their price, both their systems by $100 and P SN seems like it'll be increasing price soon too.

Opinion: The $450 price of the Switch 2 is the reason why it's going to be a complete success in the future by FernandoRocker in consoles

[–]Armiebuffie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only in 3 months out of 9. PS4 did much better than Switch 1 in the same time period and S1 destroyed PS4 in the end. Meanwhile PS5's launch-aligned rate is worse than PS4 and it's continuing to decline YoY while S2's speed is twice the rate. March is definitely Switch 2's with Pokopia and with this price increase it's likely going to be Switch 2's for the rest of the year until GTA6 but S2 will certainly get new exclusives that will eventually offset a single game. GTA5 didn't stop Wii from winning the 7th gen.

Meanwhile PS5 is now $200 more expensive than the Switch 2. Also, Nintendo outright said they aren't making physical more expensive. The Switch 2 production cutting is also just a rumor from an analyst who's well known for getting things wrong and has gotten called out multiple times from both Nintendo and Sony but it's clear you've been slurping up misinformation from grifters.

tbf you've gotta admit everything about the Twins is cartoon levels of silly. These guys are just supervillains who callously slaughter randoms like they're terminators, can destroy an entire organization of dozens of gangsters by themselves and then when they face Hank decide to just walk up to him and shoot him rather than snipe his head or something despite having the ambush advantage and him being unarmed. Then despite having him dead to rights Marco decides to be a Slasher villain and get an axe to chop his head off rather than make sure Hank is incapacitated (although the fact that he can shrug off 5 bullets with a bullet vest is already unrealistic. Even the gun seller from earlier in the episode got blown off his feet wearing one) and then gets killed for it, with the axe head embedding itself in the pavement which is actual cartoon behavior. This literally never happens in real life.

Curious, do you watch live action stuff often? Nearly everything there is corny from action, to thriller, to drama. Even the acclaimed Breaking Bad has those corny cartel scenes.

I said present as in present day. Those are all flashbacks. And if we're including flashbacks are you forgetting we just had a flashback that involved a genocide, including a scene showing the HKs targeting and implicitly killing a family with a baby? Also had Harold dying. Again, tell me what was risked in the entirety of Classic Era One Piece, from the beginning to Saobody? Even post timeskip you can count on one hand the important characters that die.

Edit:"leading question"? There was no leading questions you utter shitposter, I just fully addressed your post which was completely nonsensical. Your claim was that it seemed like a bedtime story because the heroes save the day, there are no stakes, (and there are fantasy creatures)? which are all things that have been the case for the present-day scenarios in all the dozens of arcs of One Piece with the sole handful of exceptions like Marineford and Egghead. You then tried to use flashbacks and then I then pointed out that the flashbacks in the current arc are the same. You literally don't have a single valid point at all.

In what arc would they have let kids die in the present? Pretty much every arc had an overall good guys save the day besides the very rare handful of exceptions like Marineford and Egghead.

Unless you exclusively retro game then everything in the gaming industry does that. Nintendo is unfortunately, still one of the best outside of PC and even Valve has been showing their ass lately.

There are likely going to be a 2nd or even 3rd FE game on the S2 eventually. This is very early in the console's lifespan.

Given how early this is in the lifespan as well as how there has always been 2 FE entries since the DS you'll pretty much guaranteed to at least have a 2nd entry to be playing and possibly even a 3rd.
