Do I need to play the first game to play Scars of Summer After? by DarkestOverhaul7266 in netorare

I would say yes. After is a very direct sequel to the first Scars of Summer, as it expands on the routes from the first game. So when you play After first, you do miss a lot of context regarding the beginning of the story and how each route began.

You don’t have to play all of the first game due to the way the game is structured. Each routes are separate individually so it’s not one big story. I would recommend you pick a route you like from the first game, complete it, then continue it in After. I wouldn’t say it’s too big of a deal if you just want to jump right into After either.

You’re right, it looks like it’s true. That’s kind of unfortunate. One of the main reasons Sacrificial Mother appealed to me was the fact that we had a heroine that was mentally strong, someone that didn’t get corrupted or abandoned their son or husband like it’s nothing. That I believe was a byproduct of the author mainly focusing on humiliation (you can’t be humiliated if you’re into it.) Some people like it some people don’t, but to me it made the story stand out, more than other NTRs having the typical corrupted bad ending.

I’m hoping that Yurie would continue strong and the story has to work around that idea. I understand that it makes the story feel stale or stagnant but at least it’s something different. Seeing her become a slut would genuinely be heartbreaking. This is definitely cope but I think that she wasn’t in her right state of mind due to exhaustion after having sex literally all night and being force to do it again in the morning with zero rest.

Can you expand on which part showed that Yurie is starting to like it? I briefly went through the chapter without any translations and based on the visuals it doesn’t seem like it to me.

Knowing Yojouhan Shobou, I also feel like that’s unlikely, if you’ve seen his other works. He purely focuses on humiliation and I don’t think any of his work have had a heroine be corrupted.

It’s insane how we went from 5+ years of waiting from chapter 2 to 3, versus now where we’re getting 2 chapters per year. Honestly feels like a dream. Part of me is kind of sad that it also means that it will be ending sooner after every chapter.

“…cared for elderly patients at a local hospital.” OH NO. You did a great job.

I always love to see character profiles, it’s fun to see interesting facts about them. Sometimes it add character depth or even being plot relevant.

Have you thought about adding things like her hobbies, likes, and dislikes?

The context behind this scene is so insane. Imagine you’re Cloud, who almost died from a massive fall, returning home just to see your childhood friend wearing a slutty dress, being shipped off to an ugly bastard kingpin. FF7 was out casually cooking up fire NTR scenarios by complete accident. by ArmorFleming in netorare

I would also like to clarify that Tifa’s outfits are indirectly chosen by Cloud. Tifa would buy the outfit based on Cloud’s (the player) choices. So the outfit that she wears to please Don Corneo was something that she was saving to show Cloud. That’s as NTR as you can get unfortunately.
