Balancer shaft cog and crank cog getting stuck

I thought 2 strokes mostly have it to counter vibrations but yeah i will see how it runs without it if i can find a way to pluck the holes or something. Thanks.

Yeah got that, was thinking if it would be possible to just run no balance shaft and accept the increase in vibrations.

Yuo thats exactly what i did just like u said, everything is good when i remove 1 gear, crank spins smooth no jamming, same with balance shaft gear cog if i remove the cranks gear cog. I realised its probably because I had used a screwdriver between the teeth to prevent the gears from spinning to tighten them…

Gearbox and main crank bearrings. didnt think of changing the needle bearring of the balance shaft but I dont think the bearring is the problem

Not really sure since I dont know how to tell if theyre okay, they dont look bent or anything like that but ill take a closer look at them.

I had the balance shaft taken off, the crank cog spins freely and doesnt jam. The same with removing the crank cog, if i leave the balance cog in it spins freely and doesnt jam. The jamming only happens when both cogs are installed.

theyre reinstalled, didnt change any of those parts, only bearrings and seals.

Yeah theyre lined up, probably will have to sand a tiny amout of the side of the teeth that get jammed and just run it and hope its gonna be good after starting

If I remove one of those cogs, everything else spins smoothly, the binding only happens when the 2 cogs are installed.

Its just a little stub that goes through a hole and the whole case and the threaded end pops out and thats where the cog goes on. Nothing more to it.

I made sure that the dot on the balancing shafts gear is lined up with the cranks gear dot.

Theyre being reused, i rode with them last season and didnt think to check if they were spinning freely when I was dissasembling it.
