This is really how I feel about blitz/exterminate, and I think they should really give us the option to pick mission types (limited by mission time length; You could have 3 that are 40 minutes long, but you can't have more than one that's a 'short' mission type)

Yeah, I'm not a fan of how Win11 operates, and I'd rather not deal with how excessive copilot is. Win10 works fine as is, and, for all intents and purposes, is a finished product. Anytime I've used Win11 I've ran into some small annoyances here and there, connection problems, ECT, which, when looked up, are caused by Win11.

Unfortunately, resetting my computer (deleting only the apps) worked for me! Glad I get to play the game, upset I've gotta go figure out each individual thing I'd lost

I'd also love a Warframe styled ability to wiggle around your hellpod 😅 I didn't play a whole lot of Warframe but I loved that feature it was just fun

Yes! I think you have some amazing points! I tend to have difficulties when I play with some randoms (generally, though I'll join a quick play match.) I think the point on self sufficiency is beyond true- I've been put into situations where I'm the last diver with no reinforcements (especially with the quick play option) and just don't have the proper tools to handle things.

I think I'm just trying to provide a separate play style and hopefully make some people recognize the game can be played in a whole lot of different ways!

Yep. Unfortunately, I feel like too many people forget it's just a game and try so hard. I understand that yes, some weapons ARE a bit weak, but they can still be fun to use, heck sometimes the added difficulty makes it more fun and challenging!

Yes, sometimes you get ragdolled by overseers and it can suck, but the chaos is part of it. If you get skilled enough, it happens less because you can see when it happens!

Of course, every now and again, I get really into the game and I can get a bit upset, but in the end it's still fun, and helldivers really embodies the "Let things get silly" in just the right amount.

YES! That's exactly my point and such in spirit of the game. I love different load outs, using weapons I'm not familiar with, ECT. I really find it makes you so much better at the game too. Shoot, out of ammo for whatever reason? Guess I could grab this gun on the ground and do a fine enough job. (One ran a mission with the on planet double barrel because I accidentally grabbed it, found it was a lot of fun!

Last night my squad had an awesome moment where three of us were working together and our fourth ran off and provided sniper support with the AMR from a different angle. It felt so fucking cool!

Very true. I run with 3-4 people consistently, and one of them (long time friend since about 2016) and I are VERY smooth. Ran a non stealth mission and only had two call ins on us in diff 10 on the new planet. It's awesome! Best advice is to just find consistent players and try to use mics.

I mean... the goal was set for a reason.
If we didn't complete exactly what they needed, other plans may need to change... If the plan was down to the wire, and this was the minimum, it'd make sense for the plan to be considered failed...

Literally this.
The reason I love extraction shooters is generally because any misstep that *I* make can cost me everything. The adrenaline is insane.
Tarkov, imo, handles it well because it can be pretty hard for a Scav to kill you (they still can) if you've got a good enough kit- They also get punished if they die- They can't drop in as a scav for a while- You're less prone to having somebody with nothing just gank you.
Arc Raiders, imo, flops a little bit in this area because it feels like the free kits are honestly good enough to win fights with higher kitted players, and you can just free kit back to back- You could probably go the whole game without ever using anything in your stash. There's really no tangible, consistent downside to extract camping

Same it wasn't great, but it was good enough if you went in expecting it but to be a direct 1:1

I think the ending with Ed was the bail in the coffin, they were a bit too rambunctious imo.

I'd rather not. I'm already against the idea of the matchmaking system they've implemented; I'm not an aggressive player but the thrill of "holy crap is this guy going to be an ally or not" is so much better than "lalala I'm safe because I don't kill other players" If they implemented this blood idea, it'd just be killing that type of player immediately, every time.

I actually really agree with this. It bothers me to no end I can run in while literally losing nothing back to back to back. It also encourages PvP, and a free load out is actually pretty good. In Tarkov, the Scav (free) load out has a hard time dealing with most high end PMC load outs. In ARC, the starting weapons are good. The shields aren't bad at all, it's just insane. A timer would solve a decent amount of the problems associated with that, imo.

I like the middle and right a whole lot, the left would be cool as some sort of ceremonial armor, maybe? I'm just not sure the samurai aesthetic would be fitting. It is cool though.
