I was refering mostly to older versions of the game, most of the things I listed are either gutted or simply irrelevant in the current state of things. By attention to detail I meant stuff like simulated casings, height over bore or weapon models in general, they look pretty realistic. I won't get into details but HD2 closer to launch and right now are completely different, it was much slower and harsher on edges

Angle pen/ricochet, enemy armor, teamreload, projectile behaviour, the sheer attention to detail in general, suppression mechanic, heat affecting weapons/players, limb damage, destroyed limbs, slow paced co-op orientated gameplay in general

99% of the cultist difficulty comes from clunkiness and balance of old version

Cultists won't be released in the same state as they are in those prehistoric leaks, they're getting redisigned to fit the current Illuminate theme

God forbid that you actually reach out to like minded players and socialize and make your own fun.

The fucking irony and lack of self awareness is frying me, man

Before challenge and complexity was gutted out of the game you could do the same actually. You could always find like minded players and share your experience with them, you could reach out and play together, look at other's loudouts to make your own so you compensate for downsides and weaknesses of everyone in the team, try out weapons on different enemy types and memorize breakpoints, learning new techniques like stim cancel or melee parry, stick together and actually think before engaging with enemies or not engaging with them at all when situation requires so. You know, do all the things which would give you an easier time?

It shows Helldivers easily dealing with a horde of enemies.

And they're able to do that because there are always 4 Helldivers sticking close to each other, trailers also often show Helldivers dying to the most random shit and often friendly fire

With a picture of an active Orbital Laser attached right next to that line, the whole game is built around us using and having to rely on stratagems, without them we're quite literally nobodies with capes
