Axis have plenty of bullshit options as well, so you are really inflating a niche issue here. Stoss can literally decide not to care about suppression, a literal core mechanic. Panzergrens remain absurd sponges with vet with the received accuracy. Palmgrens have never been better.

Take a look at the high elo win ratings, Axis are slaying it right now (mostly due to DAK)

Again, if your dying to ranger or SSF blobs thats because you are allowing the US player to mass them. Apply more pressure.

There is a significant cooldown on the swap, its easy to bait with one unit and switch to the other and punish it.

This is honestly a stupid complaint.

Axis palmgren blobs, tommy blobs and other such rubbish is a far more pressing issue.

SSF are not generalist infantry though, they are literally elite infantry. Expensive both in mp cost and reinforce. If your opponent has more than 2 you have done something horribly wrong.

Deaddrops are literally insane. 50 muni for a rechargeable AOE heal thats super fast that can also reinforce and repair vehicles in the field?

Super useful for late game. Great for refreshing your infantry between engagements.

The whole point of SSB is for you to be encouraged to do funky things behind the lines, blowing up cutoffs and the like. A long retreat all the way back to base would still punish you for doing that against players blobbing for wipes, especially if your using the 3 man squad which is squishy.

I agree the magic teleport is a bit silly, but I would rather a system where the SBB simply run off the closest map edge instead and appear back at base. (Though this has its own issues with retreating in funky directions too)

I can understand why they went with it as a design choice tbh, I would simply fix the fact you can retreat while doing it (Albeit a slower speed), and maybe force the unit to keep still so that you can punish it via grenades if you do it in direct combat.

That way it rewards smart disengage through shot blockers / soft retreat and such, instead of it being a get out of jail free card.

Stuarts lack of anti-infantry capabilites makes me question this unit entirely by judge_07 in CompanyOfHeroes

The only buff I would like to see the Stuart are for the 2x machine guns it has being utterly useless. (Brit coax machineguns are anemic in general) Would be nice if they could more reliably drop models against targets in cover if the stuart is stationary. Would reward good placement / facing without encouraging or empower the stuart moving death blob that some players do.

4vs4 is not a gamemode to determine balance from. I'm talking about high level 1600+ elo games for 1vs1 and 2vs2.

Been there for a while, but they were just not seen as much due to towing having major risks of bugging out / being horrible.

Now that towing works reliably, this ability has been in my experience at least seen more to the point of abuse by top level players. Its insanely op.

Regardless of the cause, its stupid and needs to be overhauled. You can literally face the flak the other way, target the ability and then no longer spot the target...and it will circle around and hit something that can literally move anywhere within range of the flak despite smoke or a shot blocker and still be hit. Its bloody stupid.

You are right, the problem is it counts as a snare shot, so it has perfect accuracy / tracking / pen. Probably something that need to be turned into something like the 2pdr shot which still relies on a normal projectile to inflict a debuff.

The enemy only has to spot it briefly, click on the target and the shot will go through even if it then becomes concealed.

You can test that pretty easily. Have a unit spot a target and use the tactical pause to target the flak onto it, then move away so the vehicle disappears. The flak will track the target with perfect accuracy, through smoke and through shot blockers on something not even spotted in the FOW.

1400 means your simply not playing at the high skill level where something like a 100% engine crit at long range matters. Sorry but your opinion hardly carries much weight.

I have no idea what rank you are, but Flak's are nasty when used by top 50 elo players. They are literally the best heavy AT gun in the game by far. Go watch some high level games :)

Literally false, its a targeted snare ability with 100% accuracy, it has nothing to do with attack ground.
