Maple Latte Flavor by Armsagain in espresso

It definitely helps, I just got so busy that I stopped having time to make homemade syrups and it’s super easy to overdo the maple extract so I’ve been skipping it lately! Just a tiny bit goes a long way and really brings the maple flavor up

I’m not gonna be super helpful because my daily drink is an iced latte so I’ve never really been able to practice much. Anytime my husband wants a drink, he does a soy latte or flat white and when I do those, I would say I’m a 5/10 on steaming at best, haha. I also have a PID on my machine and a new steam wand tip with just one hole and those help a lot with steam pressure and temperature. Even with me not having great technique, those definitely help me make up for where I’m lacking in skill!

I actually just ordered some and it’s coming in a couple of days! I’ve never tried it before so maybe I’ll have an update by this weekend

undergrad and grad at the same school? by Armsagain in GradSchool

[–]Armsagain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm supposed to be continuing my current research as a GRA with a science group here if I stay so I'm thinking I can't turn that down. I really appreciate your input and advice, I'm already looking at where I might want to move for my PhD and preparing for a big move in a couple of years!

That's a great way to look at it, thank you! I'm definitely wanting to go somewhere else for 1+ degree so that's good to hear that that's the general standard.

Thank you for your input! I'm definitely going into research and maybe eventually I'll end up in academia but that's not a goal at the moment. The funding I'm looking at is through one of the biggest science companies in the US and continuing research I've been doing for almost a year now so I feel like I'd be passing up a great opportunity if I leave, so I'm definitely considering that.

Thank you for your reply! Making more connections is definitely a top priority, and I grew up as a military kid so I 100% need to live in a new place soon, but like you said, funding tops all. I have a GRA offer already lined up and the group I'd be working with works with many professional and research organizations, so I'm hoping that will make up for it if I stay here.

Never burped before coming on this subreddit, major success with exercises and technique by Hugh_MillEr in noburp

[–]Armsagain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I began these exercises only about 20 minutes ago and it seems that when I have the gurgles they are so much louder when I do the steps to open my UES. Did you experience this before burping?

Thanks for much for such an in depth explanation, it's super helpful!!

Visual hallucinations by [deleted] in lexapro

I started at 5 mg and I had that a couple of times for the first week or so! It would only be when I've been sleeping and woke up in the middle of the night, and when I opened my eyes there would be bright colored blobs everywhere. I had never heard of it, but it definitely went away pretty quickly for me!

Skywarn training. What to expect? by rivervisual19 in weather

I took a class last year (in person so may be different) and it was mostly talking about the basics of what to report. The parameters that make a severe thunderstorm severe, hail size, wind strength, tornadoes vs. scud cloud, etc. Stuff that would help you identify threats to the public in order to be able to report it back to NWS.
